Great Italian restaurant.
We stayed at Monteprandone for two weeks and ate dinner here every other day. Really absolutely great service and very tasty food. We wish you all the best and good health, we hope that we will come back at some point.

We stopped in this place in Montepardone to taste the Ascolana olives handmade in the traditional way. We started the meal with a platter of not bad local cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by a mixed fried Ascolana with the inevitable stuffed olives, fried crunchy not at all greasy good.
As the main course, roast lamb and grilled mutton, it was a pity about the skewers that had been choreographed into half an orange, taking on the flavour. The mutton on the other hand was exceptional. Like a sweet caramel panna cotta and to finish, a good coffee.
The service is friendly and attentive.
In my opinion the final price was low considering what we were served.

“Tutto bene!!!”
We came here spontaneously after searching for interesting restaurants on the internet and were made aware of it by the positive reviews. And in fact we weren't disappointed and Osteria 1887 is one of my favorite restaurants since then. It's actually quiet in the town in the evenings, but there are a handful of restaurants that makes a tour to Monteprandone worth it.
Great value for money: The prices for food and drinks are relatively cheap - the menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from pasta to steak specialties (bistecca alla fiorentina or tomahawk steak). But it wasn't just the food that was good – also the service was really friendly and attentive.
So full recommendation. We would love to come back here.

The restaurant is located at the foot of the historic center. It's rustic, with vaulted brick roofs, and cute. You have to go down a few steps at the entrance. The service is discreet and the traditional meat dishes are good in quality and price.

At the entrance to the pretty medieval village of Monteprandone, Osteria 1887 offers the opportunity for pleasant conviviality. Characteristic ambience, courteous service, food with excellent quality/price ratio. The typical appetizers and good meat on the characteristic skewer, accompanied by good house wine, complete the historic center where San Giacomo della Marca was born as a beautiful setting. An excellent tavern!

All'ingresso del grazioso borgo medievale di Monteprandone, Osteria 1887 offre l'occasione per una piacevole convivialità. Ambiente caratteristico, cortesia del servizio, cibo con eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. Gli antipasti tipici e la buona carne sul caratteristico spiedone, accompagnati dal buon vino della casa, completano come bella cornice il centro storico che ha visto nascere San Giacomo della Marca. Un'ottima osteria!

Tradional Italian restaurant nudged into the cellar rooms of old houses near the center. So much for the atmosphere, it is as good as it gets. The food was simply excellent and beyond questioning. Service is a mixed issue. We visited a year ago, when a young women did an excellent job, last time a young waiter not so much. Still recommened. It is situated off the beaten track but if you can go there I highly recommend yoy do.
