We discovered this restaurant/trattoria by chance on a motorcycle ride in the Ligurian-Emilian mountains. I can honestly say we found a special place with fantastic food. It's located on the border between Liguria (above Chiavari) and Emilia (above Borgotaro), so it's a bit out of the way for us, but we'll definitely remember it when we pass through the area.

It's a gray, cold day, so what could be better than lunch with friends in a historic trattoria?
Everything was superb, and we devoured the appetizer without feeling heavy. For the first course, we had the anolini in brodo, which, in my humble opinion, I would have preferred with a more robust broth, not to say capon, but with a more decisive flavor, but excellent nonetheless. We had the tagliolini with truffle and the gnocchi with ragù, all excellent.
For the second course? Nothing, we were full.
The bill was good.
The service was exceptional.

Excellent restaurant, with excellent service and very friendly staff. The food, from appetizers to first courses and main courses, was all top-notch. The price for lunch was fair and honest. We'll be back.

Excellent dishes accompanied by a variety of excellent selected wines, during the week there is the possibility of taking the special menu for €15.... I recommend it to anyone passing through these areas.
