One of my favorite pizzerias in Testaccio. Excellent pizza, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere (a little rustic, but good service, typically Roman). The food is good and the price is right.

Our experience with dinner at Nuovo Mondo was exceptional. I would highly recommend it for numerous reasons. The quality of its food is supreme, the atmosphere is lively and authentic, and lastly the service was great. I also want to thank the Nuovo Mondo staff for their integrity. My husband forgot his Nikon camera at dinner, we thought that it been stolen but we called the next day and they had kept it for us. This is priceless -- there are still some ethical people in this world! We will recommend to any friends visiting Rome and we hope we can come back some day!

A historic restaurant in the Testaccio neighborhood. The quality and service never disappoint. To avoid crowds, it's best to arrive before 8:00 PM, as Roman dinner hours are later.

La pizza a Roma è Testaccio e Trastevere. A Testaccio, una accanto all’altra, ci sono due pizzerie con fuori lunghe file di clienti in religiosa attesa di entrare sin dalle 19.
Ci sarà un motivo?
Si.
Qui al Nuovo mondo di nuovo non c’è effettivamente niente di moderno: un tuffo nella Roma che fu e che spero non cambi mai.
La pizza romana è questa, con la sua “cafoneria”, la sua rapidità, la sua bontà!
E poi ci sono i fritti romani.
Altro capitolo di un mondo in estinzione.
Lunga vita a Testaccio e alla sua pizzeria.

Qué lugar tan perfecto. Algunas de las otras críticas realmente hacen que mi sangre hierva, ya que se pierden por completo el punto - este es un tesoro local con muy buena comida barata que se empaca cada noche.
Si no te parece bien - cenar lo suficiente o demasiado fuerte - por favor déjalo en paz. Hay un montón de trampas caras por ahí. Nuovo Mundi es para gente que quiere conocer Roma.
Fuimos dos veces y tuvimos la pizza, pasta de porchini y filete y todos eran geniales. El servicio era increíble, ambiente encantador.
Uno de los mejores lugares de Roma.

Everything you expect from a typical Roman pizzeria. Dynamic but essential environment, friendly but at the same time sincere waiters like the classic Roman one. All this is a side dish to excellent pizza and excellent cuisine.
