Ended up eating here twice on your trip. One of the best restaurants in the area and worth the walk from the city center. The food and service was just outstanding.

22/07/2026: Great spot for a delicious and budget-friendly meal! The food here is very tasty and surprisingly affordable compared to many other places nearby. The pizza, in particular, was absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Keep in mind that they speak very little to no English and understand only a small amount, so having a translator app on your phone is really helpful when ordering. Other than the slight language barrier, everything was fantastic. Highly recommended for great pizza and good value.

Locanda al Capriolo

11/05/2026: We tried it for an aperitif before dinner, again in Cansiglio, and it was a great experience. Nestled in the Cansiglio forest, you'll find select bottles of Cremant (at the perfect temperature for a proper refrigerator) and other classic method specialties, as well as quality Prosecco and satisfying red wines. The owner is professional and courteous. The decor is traditional, featuring wood accents (with a few slightly standardized paintings).
03/05/2026: We went for dinner. The atmosphere was quaint and welcoming. The service was fast and attentive. The food was excellent. Well done.
