I stayed in Trieste for a weekend at the end of December. I was impressed by this restaurant, which I went for lunch and then returned for dinner. The menu offered a wide selection of carefully prepared dishes. I tried the "cauldron di mare" (seawater boiler); I still remember the flavor of those shrimp, the best I've ever tasted for freshness and quality. Spaghetti allo scoglio (seafood spaghetti), a super-abundant and delicious dish, flavorful yet delicate. The cod, the fried calamari.... the fish menu was a total hit! The table service was very friendly and efficient. Attilio was quick to serve, attentive, and helpful. The quality-price ratio was excellent. I will definitely choose this restaurant when I return to Trieste.

We went to eat at the pop-up restaurant just around the corner, Skaramanzia, and it's still the same owners. We'd read that you could get their best sellers, and we wanted to try both the ravioli and the seafood. In the end, we ordered these two starters and also made some different appetizers by mixing the two menus. Wow! My partner and I were thrilled and have already booked for next week, when we're bringing more friends! Well done, guys, and see you very soon.

A very positive experience. I'd been to this place before, as it's on the Trieste waterfront and easy to get to. But this time was different. We were able to have a more relaxed lunch and enjoy the dishes (I highly recommend trying the calamari cacio e pepe, which is exceptional). The courtesy and kindness of the staff made the difference, which is not a given these days. Well done, keep it up! 😉✨

Trust both Atilio and Mili to order the freshest seafood and the most unbelievable pistachio cream with shaved dark chocolate. Their sea bass is so fresh that the chef cooked it perfectly without over-spicing the fish dish. I highly recommend their local prosecco superiore (grape: Glera—the prosecco grape from Italy) from the region of Valdobbladene. What a fantastic culinary experience when you visit Trieste.
