MOON In Siracusa

We are not vegans, but today we wanted to try this type of cuisine. We trusted the excellent reviews and we weren't wrong. The Moon offers cuisine with dishes that are distant from our way of understanding food, but it didn't make us regret it at all. Tasty dishes, prepared with skill and with quality natural products, served with all the information possible. And on the products used, and on the way to consume them with much appreciated goodies provided by Andrea. Excellent, friendly and competent service always ready to satisfy any need. You can have lunch/dinner both inside and outside. The interior is made up of a period room furnished with simplicity but taste. It's a shame that some humidity infiltrations have, in several places, ruined the plaster, the reason for the 4 stars under the environment heading. Excellent desserts and an excellent alternative to traditional cuisine. I recommend it

As a meat eater, I was not thrilled to be dragged into a vegan restaurant. I must admit that the dishes are very good. The vegetable tempuras are very crunchy and the spaghetti with imitation pieces of sausage are delicious. Moreover, something very rare in Cicily, the staff is friendly and very smiling.

Everything absolutely superb! Even though I'm not vegan, to be honest I stopped only for the beauty of the place at first, but then they won me over wonderfully. Excellent cuisine, super friendly staff and very beautiful location. Absolutely recommended!

Mandatory stop every time I come to Ortigia. It's a lovely restaurant in the centre, with a great atmosphere and very welcoming staff. There was a small delay in preparing the table due to a misunderstanding and so we were offered a welcome drink while we read the menus on the sofa. We had both pasta dishes, seitan and a vegetarian cutlet. Everything excellent!

Eat vegan in a tasty and relaxed way. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. Dogs are also welcome. The order was taken quickly and drinks and food for four people were quickly prepared. The ingredients were well coordinated and the plates were also attractive to the eye. The vegan burger was generously topped and the patty was super crispy. For me personally, the burger could have used more umami. However, this is a matter of taste and does not determine the quality. Thank you for a successful lunch.

If you are in Syracuse, and indeed in the narrows of Ortygia, you should definitely stop by and try... The fact that we chose two days was a masterpiece. Well done to everyone in the kitchen and also to the waiters who will answer any question if you don't know something .. Very pleasant surprise because we found it by chance and it turned out to be super in everything I will definitely recommend it to friends if they travel to the area ... Fast service and great prices all...
