Enchanting location, breathtaking scenery... We had a wonderful lunch, the food was good and well-cooked, nothing to complain about. As for the prices, unfortunately, everything costs money these days, we're on Mount Etna...when you go to a restaurant, you pay, and the prices are on the menu, after all. Recommended

Excellent But always crowded and crowded

I didn't think I could eat so well at such a high altitude. Quality, quantity, flavors, and smiles. Each dish told the story of Etna and highlighted its importance. A family atmosphere, full of smiles and advice. Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant for the first time, and despite some negative reviews we'd recently read, fortunately we decided not to be swayed and instead chose to trust the beauty of the location. There were two of us, and we ordered an appetizer, two first courses, and we shared a mixed grill and meatballs. The appetizer is one of the highlights, plentiful and well-prepared, with a mix of local cheeses and cured meats and a selection of seasonal dishes (very tasty!). For first courses, we ordered the specialty Monte Conca macaroni and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, truly generous portions. We could have stopped there! But they wanted to try the local grilled meat, which was delicious! Freshly cooked, tender and flavorful, served piping hot. And the meatballs were cooked between lemon leaves. Wait times? Well, considering the number of people present, it's normal, acceptable, especially since it's a popular place. In these types of settings, it's more than understandable to wait a little longer, especially on weekends. The staff was welcoming and available to answer our every request. Even in terms of hygiene and the cleanliness of the bathrooms, we encountered none of the issues reported in some reviews. Electronic payments were accepted without issue, and a receipt was issued. Completing the experience was the wonderful landscape. A setting that makes lunch even more enjoyable and magical. A more than positive experience, which contradicts several negative comments we've read. A place that surprised us, which despite being local, we had never tried, and to which we will return soon! 😊

We arrived without a reservation, and the restaurant was fully booked, with a long list for both seatings. However, they explained that, given the absence of some customers from the first seating, we might be able to get a seat soon. Despite the uncertainty of table availability, the negative reviews we'd read in the meantime, and the large turnout, we decided to wait... and we were right! After about 15 minutes, we were seated in a crowded but welcoming room, at a beautiful table near the fireplace. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was truly delicious. The meatballs roasted on lemon leaves were excellent, cooked on the grill, soft, tasty, and incredibly fragrant. Congratulations! A pleasant discovery, we'll gladly return!

A wooden restaurant on Mount Etna, surrounded by nature, where I had lunch accompanied by my large dog. The welcome was truly wonderful: great availability and attention, even a water bowl was immediately available for the dogs, a detail that is not to be taken for granted and much appreciated. I don't eat meat, and although most of the specialties were meat-based, I still ate very well thanks to the typical and local products offered. The porcini mushrooms and grilled provola cheese were particularly noteworthy, both excellent in quality and flavor. The price is medium-high, but absolutely fair considering the setting, the quality of the ingredients, and the abundance of dishes. A recommended place for those seeking good food, an authentic atmosphere, and genuine customer service... even for our four-legged friends.

The best of mountain dining on Etna

I returned to this restaurant after years, and I must say I was as pleased as ever. The bread was delicious, the fresh macaroni excellent, and the local meat was top-quality. Especially the Linguaglossa sausage, which I enjoyed both in porcini mushroom sauce and grilled. The cheeses paired with honey were also delicious. Recommended, I'll be back!

Contrary to what is written in other reviews, we recommend you go and try it and the price for the place where it is is reasonable.

I've had the opportunity to eat at the Monte Conca Restaurant several times and have always been thrilled. The staff are welcoming, the food is excellent, and the view is breathtaking. It's an excellent choice for those who want to escape the daily grind and relax in the fresh air.
