Excellent experience 10 minutes from Volterra, the room was renovated and very quiet. Small defects in the shower box but nothing major... Value for money 10 and praise. Thanks

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant seit 1981 - mit 5 war ich zum ersten Mal in der damals ganz neuen Trattoria, die sich im Laufe der Jahre zu einem hervorragenden Restaurant mit lokaler Küche entwickelt hat. Es gibt keine „Spielereien“ sondern das pure Geschmackserlebnis aus besten lokalen Zutaten. Und alles hält die wunderbare Irma zusammen. Der gute Geist und die umsichtige Chefin.

Di passaggio da San Gimignano verso Volterra, con una comitiva di turisti in un viaggio organizzato, ho provato questo ottimo ristorante ottimamente gestito con grandi sale ed una cucina semplice, essenziale ma di gran gusto. Le.pietanze sono tutte di qualità ottima ed il servizio è veloce e cortese. Ampio parcheggio. Anche Hotel per una sosta più prolungata.

09/11/2025: We loved the experience. First of all, the place is beautiful, all stone, quite medieval, in keeping with the village itself. Then the food was also delicious; the meat with mushrooms and truffle was incredible, and the mushrooms were fantastic. And finally, the waitress was lovely, trying to speak our language the whole time. A very good experience; we hope to return in the future.
09/11/2025: Delicious food; we highly recommend the meat with mushrooms and truffle. The woman who served us was absolutely lovely and made an effort to speak to us in Spanish. It's not very cheap, but it's well worth it.
