A place to eat well and with a non-trivial menu, which combines traditional Milanese (when I went there was cassoeula) and Italian flavors with a twist and some surprises. The place is small, intimate. The outdoor terrace must be very welcoming in spring or summer. Welcoming service and perhaps a little slow, but on weekends we leave the rush at home. Must try again!

One of the best places in Milan to drink Natural Wines! The menu is interesting but I recommend being guided by Daniele, who is truly passionate and competent. The cuisine then exceeds expectations, really compliments!

Small but sincere restaurant that makes you feel at home. Super friendly staff (the cook let us taste the tongue cutlet because we were afraid we wouldn't like the dish). All very good. Particular but interesting combinations. We loved it and can't wait to return. For Milan prices it is average but the quality/price ratio is unparalleled.

I was in this place in the company of a large group and I must say that not a bit of organization, I had a nice evening. The place is quite small as is the kitchen, but the dishes produced and the selection of wines are truly excellent. Substance without frills and enviable value for money. The owners are very kind and thoughtful. The only thing I didn't appreciate, now living abroad and having gotten used to it, is this double shift thing which unfortunately is classic in Milan and doesn't allow you to fully enjoy the evening. However, I would like to return to normal conditions and taste other dishes and wines.

quando si lavora bene, non servono troppi orpelli per conquistare anche i clienti più esigenti. questo è il caso di Mestè, che a mio parere ha diverse carte vincenti: pochi tavoli, ambiente rilassante (nonostante l’etichetta di “enoteca” possa trarre in inganno, infatti, il mood è quello tipico di un piccolo bistrot ben frequentato), ottima cucina con buonissime materie prime, servizio impeccabile. Daniele e la signora in sala rientrano nella ormai rara categoria degli osti che sorridono, dicono una parola in più del dovuto, si adoperano per soddisfare le richieste dei clienti (sono stati molto comprensivi per farmi sentire decisamente a mio agio con mio figlio di soli 7 mesi). un posto che facilmente diventa il locale del cuore.

Non si torna mai abbastanza spesso nei posti dove si sta bene anche in un micro tavolo senza inutili orpelli . Osso e zucca e pancia e cavolate: Tutto buonissimo. Grazie del servizio morbido e avvolgente come le bollicine dentro ai bicchieri.
