Meraviglioso In Polignano a mare

Prime location for the table, imposed by the head waiter. The card is dealt to us without more tact and kindness. Our choice is still imposed because if one of us chooses the menu, the other cannot take “a la carte”. “Porque? » I asked the same head waiter? Peremptory, she gave us no choice. The quality of the dishes, up to the 2nd plati, was there. The Salento white was very good. Impeccable service from attentive waitresses. The head waiter distributed the desserts to us with less attention. The amount of €180 for our 2 menus would have deserved experience from this team, more focused on the customers that we were. A management lesson is needed

Restaurant overlooking the square of Polignano, a few meters away is the statue of the famous Domenico Modugno. Modern, welcoming location. Well executed and equally good dishes... Advise.

Ambiance/location is great especially when the sun goes down and you can enjoy the terrace with a nice breeze. We were several people and food was a hit or miss. Look was very good on all dishes, very Insta worthy. Some dishes were extremely refined and good (Red Snaper), other dishes were quite disappointing like the Amberjack fish (waitress said it was grilled when it actually seemed it was steamed). Tiramisu was a major disappointment, whipped cream.... and you can barely feel any coffee to counter the sweetness of the mascarpone. From a service standpoint, most staff was very nice and with a smile which is what you would expect from a place trying to up their game, but one waitress in particular always had an unhappy face which conveys a negative vibe on the overall experience. The most disappointed thing is they force you to take 2 dishes, so although each dish is priced in the 25-28E range, by the time you add 2 of them plus a 5E silverware cost it adds up quickly... Restaurant has potential and I believe they will get better if they focus on food and service and not become another tourist trap.

12/10 experience. The food was out of this world. Must try the cozze gratin and orecchiette. Staff was so attentive to every thing. Did not miss a beat. WOW!!

I've read some negative reviews but don't give them any weight. They are princes or princesses who certainly eat caviar for breakfast in their homes. Some Masterchefs are even able to talk about unrelated dishes. What is unrelated is only the forked tongue that transforms into freedom of writing. I recommend the restaurant to you. Of course, if you don't want to spend money, stay at home. They were good, quick and very kind to us... the place is nice, well-kept and it is very pleasant to eat with the statue of Modugno next to it and just below the wonderful sea of ​​Polignano!

We had a nice lunch there. A little pretentious for what it actually is or should be. I was disappointed to see they had so little options for vegetarian and especially when I had a tuna and parmigiana turned into a veggie appetiser actually cost the initial price 18€ when all they did was take off the tuna and add more melanzane. The pasta was good! Quite delicious even, but basic orecchiette at 18€ in Italy I mean, come on… this is a bit ridiculous. They charge 4€ a bottle of water… it’s just all a bit much for food as simple and humble as itialian food. Surely the view is a plus! Won’t come back though… probably more appreciable in the evening! ☺️ and the spaghettis and urchins was a delight!

This was such an incredible experience. The food was truly amazing. Every bite was exquisite. The staff was lovely, they made our dinner even more enjoyable. This is the best restaurant in polignano a mare, you will not regret!!👏👏

Ambiente muito agradável, fomos muito bem recebidos. Inicialmente nos ofereceram uma mesa com vista ruim, mas solicitamos troca e rapidamente nos levaram para uma melhor. A comida é deliciosa e com uma excelente carta de vinhos

Bon mais un peu décevant. L’accueil et le service sont aimables et professionnels mais beaucoup, beaucoup trop rapide. C’est dommage… Quant à la cuisine, elle est de qualité et bien présentée mais je m’attendais à beaucoup plus de travail et plus saveurs dans mes plats (poisson mariné cru, orrechietti et sorbet citron-gingembre). Du coup, un peu déçus.
