Ahhh really delicious food and the people working here are simply amazing! You can feel the warmth of a family-owned business in every detail 💕💕☺️ We had the Penne Arrabbiata, bruschetta, and Caprese cheese — everything made with love. Highly recommend!

The Melo is a fantastic hidden gem in the heart of Rome. From the outside it looks literally like a hole in the wall, it's in the middle of the stairs going down towards Trajan's column. Behind this unassuming door whether you go for lunch or dinner, you are in for a special treat! The food is absolutely amazing! The specialties of the house are seafood but Italian cuisine in general, with an emphasis on Sicilian food. The customers are a fair mix of locals/regulars, and well-informed or serendipitous tourists. I wholeheartedly recommend the mixed seafood, but everything on the menu is to die for. For desert, try the conoli, the owner (who is from Sicily) makes them himself!! The prices are quite reasonable, and this service is very friendly.

EXCELLENT It was the first time I entered a restaurant and I felt at home. The very welcoming environment is the perfect setting for the exceptional traditional Roman dishes with an unparalleled flavour, so much so that both my partner and I did an encore, because we were embarrassed by how good the first courses were. Excellent service and very short waiting times. I highly recommend dropping by.

Great with so much love for food.

Walking around and dying of hunger after visiting half of Rome, we found this very cozy place. The restaurant is managed by an older and super friendly couple. They were both very funny, even though we didn't understand them very much. Very delicious food, although, in my case, I had a lasagna, it seemed very expensive for how small it was. But I would definitely recommend. Italian restaurant at its best.

Uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en Roma! La comida es deliciosa (pruebe la lasaña y el cannoli) , el personal es increíblemente amable, y el ambiente es acogedor y cálido. No puedo recomendar este restaurante lo suficiente, he estado más de 5 veces con amigos y familiares y siempre lo paso increíble. 5 / 5
