The food is very good, the pasta is a little too aldente compared to other restaurants.

Such a lovely atmosphere with super friendly service and really tasty food. I had the pasta with tomato and lemon sauce — it was full of flavor! The meat wasn’t quite as good, but I think that was just because of the cut. Dessert was great too, and overall, the prices were very fair for the quality

Elegant restaurant inside a green and well-kept courtyard. Great attention from the staff. Kind and friendly waiters. Precise plating and exquisite dishes, especially the linguine with clams and sea urchins. We will definitely return and recommend it.

Really pleasant atmosphere, we went to Matisse for lunch in the room flooded with light and cared for in the smallest details, care that is reflected in the dishes served. Local products of excellent quality and research of the perfect mix between tradition and contemporary cuisine. You absolutely have to try the mackerel with green apple puree and the tagliolini with oyster butter. We will definitely return on our next vacation in Salento.

We chose Uggiano la Chiesa as the starting point for our Puglia vacation and had been recommended this restaurant. Our first visit was a spontaneous decision.
Unfortunately, the "open" dining area in the garden borders a street, which results in a certain level of noise.
The food is very tasty, and the staff is friendly and attentive. There are also dishes not listed on the menu that are offered by the waiter. This recommendation should definitely be followed!
We visited this restaurant twice in total and enjoyed both meat and fish dishes of excellent quality. A clear recommendation!

Wir haben ein hervorragendes Nachtessen im Restaurant Matisse genosssen. Unser Tisch im idyllischen Garten war top, das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam und das Essen war Weltklasse. Wir haben einen feinen Fisch, hergerichtet in Salzkruste, gegessen und dazu einen herrlichen lokalen Weisswein getrunken. Alles war sehr sehr gut und wir werden bestimmt dieses Lokal bei unseren nächsten Süditalien-Ferien wieder besuchen.

Splendida location, abbiamo mangiato benissimo, piatti molto raffinati e curati nei minimi dettagli! Abbiamo mangiato i carciofi (spalati!!) tagliolini (davvero anche questi buonissimi ) di secondo il calamaro ripieno molto buono! In fina abbiamo preso i dolci , ma il gelato fatto da loro era un’altra cosa rispetto i gelati normali consistenza particolare buonissimo!! Camerieri molto professionali e gentili. Raccomando vivamente!! I prezzi sono normali rispetto la cura e la squisitezza della portata!
