Inaspettata cena in un locale accogliente situato a vulcano Piano. Antipasto eccezionale con formaggi locali di qualità, involtini di Spatola al di sopra delle aspettative, leggeri, ben cotti e morbidi al palato ma il must di questo locale sono i dolci di Gilberto di grande fantasia e eccelsa qualità. La struttura offre un servizio di navetta gratuito con conducente estremamente gentile disponibile e orgoglioso di quello che offre il proprio locale. Tappa consigliata per chi viene a Vulcano.

Ieri sera sono andato a cenare con mia moglie in questo ristorante, che già conoscevamo per esserci stati negli anni precedenti, il servizio e il cibo sono stati sempre buoni , però che dire questa volta dal mio punto di vista si sono superati ho cenato davvero molto bene il primo del giorno (spaghetti con vongole e finocchio selvatico) era strepitoso.

We went in July for a dinner: when we book they immediately offer us the free shuttle service, which is very useful and convenient! The dinner was excellent, from the starters to the desserts, everything was delicious!

If you come to Vulcano you can't miss going to dinner in this restaurant at Gilberto's: Excellent typical Aeolian cuisine. What distinguishes this restaurant from others? You will find typical but revisited dishes that are very particular but also very good. Food quality: excellent Service: excellent Presentation of dishes: superb Don't be scared by the distance, they organize free shuttles that take you from the port to the restaurant... you won't regret it!

Restaurant with typical specialties of Vulcano. Dishes with exceptional flavor, not to be missed. They offer a free shuttle service from Vulcano Porto to Piano. Philosopher and very nice shuttle driver.

Excellent restaurant, historical meeting place of an authentic volcano with good dishes (particularly meat ones) and some original dessert options. A pleasant confirmation of how excellent cuisine can be prepared without boasting useless Michelin stars.

The place is lovely and fresh. The fried appetizer is remarkable. The former leave something to be desired. The service is confusing. A big shame!

10/08/2024: We had dinner on the outside veranda. Well set up. Fast service. The staff were friendly and efficient. Various and plentiful starters. Meat, wide choice. Tasty, excellent. I recommend it to anyone who wants to taste something good!
30/07/2024: 5 stars overall! Welcoming staff, delicious chops (my favorite are the chicken and courgette ones). I would have preferred bruschetta on thinner slices of bread, but this is just my personal taste. The bill is truly negligible when compared to prices in the North. Highly recommended place.

Tropical Ristorante Pizzeria

17/08/2024: Excellent fish restaurant on the Tropea seafront. Both the starters and the first courses were good.
16/08/2024: It's the second year I've been going to this beach/restaurant for lunch. Delicious lunch, EXCEPTIONAL caponata! A small but not insignificant problem is the parking, if you can't find it inside the small courtyard of the lido/restaurant it is difficult almost impossible to find parking in the area, and if you have a disabled person it becomes a bit complicated. Helpful and kind waiters. I hope next year for another stroke of luck to park and return to have lunch there.
