MARECHIARO In Bergamo

Very good, we had both fish (appetizers) and pizzas and I'd say everything was perfect. Covered Camozzi parking very close (paid, €2/€2.50 per hour). I recommend it!

Excellent pizza and seafood cuisine!

We did not visit the restaurant, but the hotel, very nice, different style of accommodation, traditional, monastery-style, clean enough, renovated rooms, honest, in a relatively central area, 700 to 800 meters from the main square, Porta Nuova, in Bergamo.

I liked this restaurant: pleasant family atmosphere, delicious and reasonably priced food, and quite pleasant staff. It's a good option for a quiet, warm evening.

Yesterday we went to Marechiaro with a Smartbox: a very positive experience. Good food, very kind staff. We will definitely be back.

I went with my family for lunch today and I have to say I had a great time. We had the pizza menu, and it was very good. Even the children had a great time, everyone was kind to them.

All things considered, nothing special. The place is informal but needs some cosmetic updating. The service? Very questionable. I definitely saw effort from the waitress, but it wasn't enough. She forgot a lot at both my table and the adjacent tables. While clearing away the dirty plates, she practically touched my shoulder with a dirty fork, causing the rest to fall near me. It doesn't matter, mistakes happen to anyone. The food? My mixed fried fish was definitely light, but only the calamari was good; the shrimp hadn't been cleaned of their intestines and weren't very flavorful. The pizza was good, but nothing to write home about. The price was perhaps a little high considering the overall package, but still acceptable. Will I go back? Since I only visit the area twice a month, no. I'll definitely try other places.

My family and I have been going to Mimmo, the owner of the Marechiaro pizzeria, since I was born. The pizza is excellent, as are the fish dishes, always well-cooked and fully respectful of Sorrento tradition. Thanks also to all the staff who have worked with dedication and kindness over the years. Thank you, and see you next time!

Unbeatable pizza. Excellent food quality. I'd happily travel 50 km to enjoy their cuisine.
