Mainly the first courses and fried calamari are highly recommended. Octopus linguine, FABULOUS.

I confess that I sat at the table in this place because I was attracted by the name "Mare fritto". In the end, however, I was satisfied with the food, the courtesy and the speed of the service. The tables under the awning allow for lunch with a sea view, and this too was to my liking.

An undemanding place but truly special food. Fish linguine cooked to perfection and well seasoned. Super balanced flavors and combinations. Congratulations to Giovanna and all the staff, very kind and friendly.

Every time we come it never disappoints. Fried seafood, seafood appetizers and special first courses. Attention to the customer and kindness are strong points. Advised.

Of course it's Gaeta but 28 euros is a rock!! Definitely good but there isn't even a sea view from the room. Anyway we were looking for a takeaway chip shop to get a cup and Maps showed us Mare Fritto. Once there, to our surprise, a sign read 'NO TAKE AWAY'. It was lunch time and the images tell the rest.

Cibo buonissimo, ottima la qualità! Ambiente molto simpatico e cortese, veloci nel servizio. Ogni volta che sono a Gaeta, vengo a pranzo qui. Raccomandatissimo!

Cibo buonissimo, soprattutto i primi, si sente tutta la qualità! Personale simpatico e cortese, veloci nel servizio. Se dovessi tornare a Gaeta, andrei volentieri di nuovo a pranzo qui. Per quanto ci è piaciuto abbiamo voluto fare personalmente i complimenti allo chef! Raccomandatissimo!

04/03/2025: Nice and welcoming place, if I really have to make a note I would do it to the waitress... we order some sandwiches she tells us the names and by a show of hands we get them... we start eating and then we realize that a friend of mine is eating mine, while I have his... the menu and the products should be the first thing the waiters need to know. Only note, everything else is fine
20/11/2024: From 5 and that's it. At Zio you drink excellent beer, you eat delicious sandwiches, pinsas and plates. Zio's friendliness is unique, two laughs are guaranteed. Nice room covered in wood, very warm. The upper floor has a view towards the floor below. The entrance is beautiful with the tables outside and under a huge oak tree that covers the entire external area. What can I say, the best place to eat and drink

23/02/2025: The chivo is delicious with very fresh seafood and fish dishes. Huge quantities. Congratulations to the chefs Pina and Salvatore and many thanks to the very kind Mario the waiter for his attention and professionalism.
