After spending quite some time looking for a place that truly reflects the island’s essence, we were lucky to come across this beautiful gem. Every dish felt like a tribute to the region with fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and a simplicity that speaks volumes. You can taste the love and tradition behind every bite. It’s not just a meal, it’s a Sicilian experience. The staff was just as impressive. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by Ganmoffo, what a genuinely kind and attentive person. His service added even more to the entire experience. Without a doubt, when we return to Sicily (and we absolutely will), Makanan Restaurant will be one of the first places we revisit. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience the real taste and soul of Sicily.

Excellent restaurant, welcoming place, ample parking, kind, friendly and qualified staff, satisfied from starter to dessert, all courses with gourmet plating. We were very satisfied, my wife and I will return, bringing family and friends to let them taste some truly excellent dishes..

An exceptional place... the staff are very kind and welcoming, they are also nice... we had a great time... they care about every second of their customers so that nothing is missing... the pizza is super good... we took 2 first courses and the appetizer not to mention the breadsticks and bread which they make are really good... we will definitely be back... they are truly the TOP

Really lovely restaurant, food was delicious and staff were really friendly. Service was quick and very reasonably priced. The desserts in particular were our favourite.

Great Food and Service - October 2024 We visited this restaurant in October 2024 and had a really great experience. The food was fantastic—especially the pizza, which was one of the best I’ve ever had! They also have several good vegetarian options, which was nice to see. The dessert was just as good as the main meal, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, spoke Englis. If you’re looking for tasty food and great service, this place is definitely worth a visit
