We went this Sicilian restaurant nearby Cefalu for a dinner. Incredibly delicious and fast and good service and the cost was similar price as Puglia. Strongly recommend for you all.

A really nice Sicilian restaurant where many locals also come to eat, creating a very cozy atmosphere. I give this restaurant a 10 out of 10! The food is high quality and the service is excellent! We ate here twice last week. First, on Saturday evening, we arrived at 10:30 PM. According to the website, the restaurant closed at 11:00 PM, but we didn't notice. We were greeted very warmly and were recommended the right dishes. We enjoyed a delicious rosé, "the wine of the roses." They also showed us some fresh fish to choose from. Due to the hour, the selection was a bit limited, but we went for it right away, and it was delicious. The very experienced host—sorry, I forgot your name—who is only 20 years old and has been working there for five years, made the experience complete with his jokes and charming English, his cinematic Italian accent, and his performance. Not only us, but other guests also received personal attention and tips from him, including recommendations for nightlife they were looking for. On our last evening, we went there for dinner again to round off our vacation and were immediately recognized and, if possible, welcomed even more warmly. We arrived a bit earlier this time—already at 10:00 PM, yes, we'd already adjusted quite well after a week in Sicily—and were also served by other colleagues who spoke good English and were very welcoming. The food was, once again, of excellent quality. They forgot to serve a drink, but after "scusa" (asking), it was on the table within 30 seconds, with a thousand apologies! Open your mouth, just like the Sicilians ;-) If you drive by, it doesn't look like an appealing place, being right next to a gas station, but don't let that put you off. I had also checked beforehand what was close to our accommodation and thought, "This might be something," and it turned out surprisingly well. Thank you very much to the Makanan staff; we enjoyed you, the food, and the atmosphere! If you go for the fresh fish, it's a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it and, compared to the Netherlands, actually dirt cheap. The total price is a bit higher, but still very affordable.

Stopped in for pizza on a Saturday night, and the kindness and professionalism of the wait staff was immediately apparent. The pizza was truly delicious, with excellent balance of ingredients and, above all, very easy to digest. Definitely recommended.
