Maio Restaurant In Milano

I went for a business lunch, and I have to say the location is absolutely stunning! In the heart of Milan, on the 7th floor of La Rinascente, this amazing and breathtaking restaurant with a view right of the cathedral! Beautiful, amazing... Discreet service, not very attentive to customers, average food, nothing spectacular, and not the same for the remarkably high prices; obviously, given the location, that's understandable. I'd say that from a place like this and with those prices, you definitely expect something more, but overall, it's worth a visit!

We went there for coffee and dessert. Outstanding tiramisu, decent coffee, excellent service. And unbeatable views of Duomo. A bit expensive, but totally worth it.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Maio Milano. The food was exceptional from start to finish. The Risotto alla Milanese was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, while the Costoletta alla Milanese was beautifully cooked, crispy on the outside and tender inside, a true Milanese classic. To finish, we shared the Tiramisù and Gelato alla Crema with espresso and praline hazelnuts, and both desserts were absolutely delicious. The tiramisu was one of the best we’ve had in Italy, and the gelato paired with espresso was the perfect ending to our meal. A special thanks to Mustafa, who provided outstanding service throughout the evening. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Combined with the elegant atmosphere and stunning views of Milan, Maio is a place we would happily return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Eating something while watching the sunset over the Duomo is worth it.

I've eaten here often, but the other night I returned after a long wait for an aperitivo. The cocktail was good—I had a Hugo—but the food was terrible: one can of chips and one can of peanuts for two people. The view, unfortunately, was poor for a terrace overlooking the Duomo: I understand there are suicide issues or something else, but the beauty of this place is precisely the view. The staff, in short, were professional and lacking in empathy.

A very nice place to see Milan Cathedral. The food is good but the portions are very small and the prices are very high. The service is good and the staff is very friendly.

I arrived in front of the Duomo late, so I couldn't go inside. Instead, I found this restaurant based on Google Maps reviews, and since it was happy hour, it was a good place for a quick bite. The menu wasn't very diverse and the prices were on the higher side, so I just had a light meal and left, but the view of the Duomo from the window was truly breathtaking. The server also took great photos for me, which made the experience even better. This is a place that is satisfying enough just for the scenery, even more so than for the food.

Amazing restaurant with an amazing view of the cathedral. It is not at all a tourist trap and the food was very delicious. They offered us chips and almonds on arrival and 2 types bread and olive oil. Staff was very friendly and not expensive at all for the location (35€ per person with a drink) I highly recommend it.

On the terrace of La Rinascente, so with a great view of the Madonnina. The place was clean, we ate quite well, and the staff were very kind and polite. Since we have a daughter who's almost a year old, they still heated up her baby food for us and were friendly. Prices were reasonable for the place and its location. I recommend!
