Because it is right behind Milan Cathedral, with such a beautiful view, it is always very crowded, with a large wine list, good food, and it is on the top floor of Renaissance Department Store.

A restaurant with a great view of the Milan Cathedral. The presentation of the food and preparation were great. The other wine selection was also great. A lovely romantic evening with my wife.

We had a family dinner at Maio restaurant on the terrace of Rinascente and the setting is amazing. The food is an interesting twist on the traditional Milanese cuisine. The service was good. The only problem was the welcoming. We were welcomed by the Maitre that after giving our last name strongly highlighted that the reservation that we made was not present in their system and started ranting about this in a very unpleasant and unprofessional manner, even thou there were clearly table available, where eventually shed lead us to sit down. The overall experience good, but started quite poorly.

Prices are certainly high. 2x tiramisu and 2 cocktails = 50€. But very good view, good quality and good. Highly recommended.

Personale poco professionale e con tante dimenticanze (così ha detto il direttore di sala). Controllare sempre se quello che si ordina e si paga e corretto ! Peccato perché la location è spettacolare !

It's not every day that you eat your lunch with the beautiful (and recently cleaned so sparklingly white) Duomo di Milano next to you, so you can expect the prices to be a bit high. However, the food is delicious, the staff very attentive and the view wonderful so who's complaining? I didn't expect a place like this on top of a department store but so glad we tried it. As for the desserts...

06/04/2024: Very nice location and different from the usual restaurants, the staff were very kind and helpful to meet every need The pizza is Neapolitan style with a really excellent dough that looks like a cloud And the sliced ​​beef with excellent and particular melted provola cheese was really excellent and finally the bill which, although quite in the center of Milan, is not at all high compared to other places I highly recommend it for eating a good pizza or well-prepared dishes

19/03/2024: Very nice place, plentiful aperitifs and normal prices. Mandatory stop if you go to the Bicocca area.
04/02/2024: Excellent Apericena, the only exception is too much ice in the Spritz (almost water)
