Tip: Only order the “Forte” with the ‘spicy ricotta’ if you like strong flavoured (blue) cheese. It’s not spicy, instead it’s strong flavoured. Ordered the Forte panzerotti thinking it had spicy ricotta - was not spicy but strong flavoured. Avoid if you don’t like strong cheese. Dive in, if you do. Food is made and fried fresh, as you order. Meaning you may wait for 5 - 10 mins …. but worth the wait. Can’t believe how unbelievably light the pastry was. Didn’t feel greasy, just light and a perfect mix of crispy outside and lovely oozy warm filling.

The braciola panzerotti was delicious! The ladies were very attentive. They prepared it right away. I had doubts about some comments, but I'm very satisfied with what I ordered. Delicious!

Nel cuore pulsante di Monopoli, una piccola panzerotteria conquista con semplicità e gusto. Ho assaggiato il classico panzerotto pomodoro e mozzarella: fragrante, saporito e con una frittura sorprendentemente leggera. Il personale? Gentile e accogliente. Il servizio? Rapido come un sorriso. Se passate da queste parti, fateci un salto: vale assolutamente la pena lasciarsi tentare dalle loro delizie!

03/06/2025: Più di una panetteria, anche se i prodotti da forno sono eccellenti: si possono mangiare piatti della tradizione pugliese, e barese in particolare, a prezzo contenuto e accontenta anche i palati più fini. Hanno posti a sedere in una saletta a fianco.

04/05/2025: Very slow service when ordering and little attention at the table... the wine was poured without being able to taste it and we found it not to our liking but the owner offered us a carafe of rosé to compensate for this, and he was very kind. However, the food did not particularly excite us and left us amazed... I found the octopus a little stringy but the raw meats good and fresh. Rustic place, in our opinion not the best in the area.
26/04/2025: L’accoglienza nel ristorante è stata cortese e gentile. Gli antipasti di mare, crudo e cotto, sono ben presentati ed elaborati con prodotti freschi e di eccellente qualità. Tali si sono rivelati anche i primi che ci sono stati proposti. Di secondo abbiamo gustato dell’ottima e ben cotta frittura di pesce. Accettando il consiglio che mi è stato dato ho preso un superlativo pesce San Pietro cotto in forno con patate: una vera prelibatezza. Tutto il personale , titolare compreso, si è mostrato premuroso, efficiente e professionale. Conto onestissimo. Bella esperienza. Tornerò sicuramente.
