Macchiaviva Bistrot In Grottaglie

Thanks to some friends of ours, we had dinner this evening outdoors in the heart of the historic center of Grottaglie, the Apulian city of ceramics. The grape festival was underway and so we had the splendid background of the sweet Salento pizzica music. Two charms this evening to be praised: the first-rate cuisine and the well-known managers. The bottom of our hearts, appreciated their humanity. At the same time, the stars of goodness that lit up with each dish, among other things the fruit of the genius of their wonderful cuisine. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

Clean, welcoming and elegant place! Right from the start you have the feeling of being part of the family because of the way you are welcomed by all the staff. The delicious food prepared with a lot of love and dedication by chef Loredana with the highest quality and seasonal ingredients. For wine lovers it is the ideal place due to the great variety of choice, however the owner Anna is an excellent sommelier who can help you with the choice...I recommend you end your lunch or dinner with mother Carmela's delicious desserts Highly recommended

Total Italy. Authentic, familiar and good. There is almost no such thing anymore.

The Osterias that I like, the ones with a capital O, where knowing how to make typical cuisine does not leave room for many interpretations but only communicates the excellent ability of those who move the tools in the kitchen. An excellent experience, followed and advised by a perfect and competent hostess, a change on a masterfully executed course of the menu (simple mussel sauce, delicious to say the least), a refined list of local wines and lots of...goodness. Even if you can't eat anymore, remember the lemon delight... A small suggestion: it is true that we are in a tavern but for the red paper tablecloth and the white paper napkin, I would try to make some improvements.. However, you are very good, congratulations!

Pretty good food here, but not great, but maybe we are spoiled. We stood outside during a smoke break chatting with other guests and they loved it. So it could also be our fault. Too bad we didn't get our food at the same time, one had finished the Anti Pasto when the other got it. One was halfway through the Primo when the other got the pass. The used plates were also only removed from the table later so the table was full. They don't have alcohol-free beer, but... they got it for us from a friendly pub around the corner. Parking is a disaster. Everything is full, even in places that are not parking spaces. The service is friendly.

Such a wonderful find. We went to another restaurant for lunch, but they were closed, and they kindly recommended this one. Outstanding tip! The food and service were as good as it gets. Everything was delicious. Also, I wasn’t feeling particularly well, and our waitress proactively suggested a warm drink that fixed me right up! I highly recommend lunch there after a shopping expedition—perfect.

Questa domenica siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante ubicato nel centro storico di Grottaglie. Esperienza assolutamente positiva ! Nonostante ci fosse in corso un anniversario con relativi festeggiamenti , la proprietaria ci ha “ curato” con estrema gentilezza. Personale VOTO 10 Antipasti : baccalà , caponata e crostino di stracciatella e acciughe , VOTO 7.5 Primi: orecchiette al sugo , VOTO 8 Secondo: bombetta gigante con ripieno di rape ( peccato il formaggio che a noi non piace ) , ma era molto buona ! Dolci ( fatti in casa ), VOTO 8 Complimenti anche per il gesto finale ! ( avevo erroneamente pagato con 2 banconote attaccate) e la proprietaria mi ha restituito 50 euro ! L’ ONESTA’ ORAMAI E’ MERCE RARA !!!! CONSIGLIATISSIMO !!!
