We discovered Macchiaviva during a trip to Grottaglie and were really impressed. There were four of us and we had lunch choosing a first course each, accompanied by a fried fish to share and, to conclude, two homemade desserts. Everything lived up to expectations, but the mussels, very fresh and tasty, and the artisanal desserts, which show the passion and care with which they are prepared, deserve a special mention. The dining room staff and the owner family welcomed us with great kindness, demonstrating rare attention not only towards us, but also towards our dog, who was pampered like an honored customer. We will definitely be back!

We tasted some appetizers, two first courses and a dessert and it was all very good. But what struck us above all was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff who adapted the dishes, preparing them all gluten-free. Recommended if you are looking for a typical trattoria!

Big crush on this restaurant! I came to dine alone in this restaurant which I chose completely by chance. I was very well received and the dishes were of good quality and tasty! The manager Anna was attentive and gave very good advice, especially for the wine. Many thanks! I highly recommend.

Cortesia...perché nonostante l'orario d apertura era fissato per le 13.00 , ci hanno permesso di pranzare alle 12e30! Gentilezza...perché ci hanno accolto e consigliato tutto sempre con il Sorriso e la massima Professionalità! Tanta Tantissima Bontà....perché dalla Caponata...passando per le orecchiette(personalmente le migliori mai mangiate in Vita mia!!!10eLode)e per terminare con le bombette!!! Ancora una volta abbiamo deciso di trascorrere il pranzo dell'Immacolata.... in famiglia. Si perché al macchiaviva, gli ospiti sono trattati come persone di famiglia. Infatti al termine del pranzo, chef e staff si intrattengono con i clienti tutti. Le pietanze del macchiaviva sono sempre ricercate, ed oltre alla quantità, quello che davvero emerge è la qualità eccelsa degli ingredienti, oltre che la maestria della chef nella preparazione dei piatti. In sala poi il servizio è sempre preciso ed educato. Nulla è lasciato al caso. Il conto è adeguato alla soddisfazione che il palato riceve da chi riesce a trasformare in arte, quella che per alcuni, può sembrare "banale" cucina. Viva sempre il macchiaviva.

30/05/2025: We had dinner and not knowing the place we started looking on Google we were attracted by the photos of some dishes I assure you up close they were spectacular even better the flavors were unique and delicate a spectacle for the palate the service was excellent I would have put only one star only because I learned from little Diego that he is an Inter fan he is also the dad but alas unfortunately there must be a flaw we cannot be perfect we are not robots 😉😜 .... But the kitchen there forgave .... A hug and thanks for the evening and always Forza Napoli !!! 💪🏻😅😜 As soon as I get back I'll stop by to see you a hug
24/05/2025: I ended up there by chance and I have to say I liked it. Clean, very welcoming environment. You immediately sense that you will spend a few pleasant hours. The welcome from the staff then gave the right push. The refined dishes and generous portions. Attention to detail that certainly makes the difference. I recommend this place to those looking for a touch of style without too many frills.

04/05/2025: If you want to eat well in a family environment this is the right place.
26/04/2025: We went there about three times, it never disappointed. Among the typical local dishes is the Tarantino calzone, a sort of half-moon ravioli drowned in tomato sauce with horse and flakes of caciocavallo cheese. They usually make generous first courses in a large pan, regardless of who had booked a tasting they still offer it. Truly super welcome.
