Very fresh fish cooked in a particular way. Don't forget the meat, including game. Nice and charming environment. Must try

Rather welcoming place, very courteous staff, dishes I would say with lights and shadows: the quality of the ingredients is excellent but with preparation or combinations that do not always enhance them and which actually often end up being unbalanced. For a restaurant that makes refinement its strong point I honestly expected more, too bad

Small but well-kept place, very friendly zipper, and informed and friendly chef/waiter. Delicious food, fresh fish, fantastic raw, like the soute. fantastic lobster linguine, but for me the wheat germ paccheri with seafood is truly one of the best dishes, fantastic monkfish... what can I say, go here and you won't regret it!

We had never been there but we ate delicious fish... nothing to say about anything! Not even on Elba have we eaten fish like this! Everything was excellent from the starter to the dessert! Perfect !

In recent days we had seen in their posts on Facebook that Moreno Cardone and his wife Samantha Raspollini had found some wonderful porcini mushrooms and eggs in the woods. Which is why we thought about going to their place for lunch.
Moreno offered us first courses: porcini soup and gnocchi with porcini mushrooms.
Very good dumplings but the soup is amazing. Try it these days, it's worth traveling hundreds of kilometres. Tomorrow Samantha and Moreno return to look for mushrooms. Take advantage of it. It's a magical start to November

Local in the center of Grosseto that always offers dishes of the day in addition to the well-stocked menu. The quality of the fish and the skill of the chef make the difference. Place to spend a nice evening. Super recommended

“L’Uva e il Malto” in Grosseto offers a culinary experience with some ups and downs. The welcome, in my case, included an amuse-bouche based on ready-made packaged chicken ("chicken steak") from the supermarket, which unfortunately leaves a little to be desired. In a restaurant context, it would perhaps be preferable to avoid offering packaged food altogether, as it can lower the perception of overall quality.
Fortunately, the actual cuisine makes up for the less than brilliant start: the dishes are well prepared and tasty, demonstrating the care taken in the preparation and use of fresh ingredients. The atmosphere of the place is welcoming, although, especially on Saturdays, the restaurant tends to be a little overcrowded, which could reduce the general comfort.
The bill remains in line with the quality offered, therefore being adequate and proportionate to the overall experience.
