L'Osteria del Borgo In San daniele del friuli

Visited spontaneously while looking for an open restaurant for dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised! The food was unusually creative, wonderfully prepared and, above all, we were thrilled by the use of lots of fresh herbs. Excellent open wines and charming, brisk service round off a successful experience. Will come back next time we visit San Daniele.

Since I can't put a sixth 🌟..star, I'll try to do it with words. The food was truly sublime. The service was courteous, professional but above all done with the heart. Environment, the welcoming room with delicious decorations, the strong point is also the choice of background music which is absolutely non-trivial as usually happens. I recommend if you are passing through the area to stop for a moment of relaxation and to treat yourself to an excellent meal. Really good everyone!!!

Locale semplice e rustico, personale gentilissimo anche con i bambini. Cibo semplice ma di ottima qualità! Sicuramente se dovessi essere nuovamente in zona ci tornerei

Place with a very familiar atmosphere and also a welcoming aesthetic. The perfect place to sit at the table with friends and family, to enjoy the typical traditional dishes that completely reflect it, excellent food!! . I recommend it to everybody.

Excellent tavern, varied and very good food to eat outdoors with an enchanting view. It was a fantastic experience, I recommend it to everyone!

Mixed cold cuts with vegetables...good, but I prefer the mortadella and lard to be cut thinly instead they were thick. Good sour vegetables. Good white wine. Stracciatella no! It left a bitter taste on the palate, which means that it wasn't fresh, because when it's fresh you can taste all the sweetness of the cream, or you have to change supplier because they're giving you a poor quality product. The girl at the counter was friendly, the service was good. Prices normal.

For us, now, a pleasant "habit." Excellent cuisine, always attentive to seasonality: a few chosen dishes, great quality. The friendly and smiling service. What are you waiting for? (2024 update: Better and better. Now our favorite place.)

If I could have given 15 stars I would have given them! Do you know when you manage to achieve peace of mind and would like to feel that feeling inside you forever? Here, I assure you that you will find it! We note the refinement, the choice of combinations, the care in plating and the elegant balance of flavors that make up each dish Have you ever paired marinated beef with raspberries and blackberries? Or a black Angus bresaola with peach and mixed salad? Such apparently simple dishes were masterpieces of art that you can't even imagine The desserts are spectacular and I never thought they could be so good! The biscuit, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, of the cheesecake had a delicate flavor and perfectly matched the full and genuine flavor of the icing... Grandma's cake with almonds melted in the mouth, neither too dry nor too soft But do you know what the real enchantment was? The courgette, mint, burrata and tomato risotto! Very delicate, fresh, aromatic, intense like a kiss in the moonlight! The impeccable service and the very approachable, very kind and courteous staff, the friendliness is at home. I was satisfied well beyond my expectations (which were already high) and I'm sure I'll be back! Update 9/0/2024 On the fourth time I come here it's still all poetry! The tagliolini with asparagus were amazing!!!

Tutto perfetto, per gentilezza e disponibilità, in una serata imprevista infrasettimanale e non prenotata. Primi ottimi e secondi anche. Personale gentile e competente. Clima informale e posto molto carino, ideale per una cena friulana ma non del tutto classica. È un gran bel rosso...😊
