L'Osteria dè Memmo I Santori In Roma

We stumbled upon this gem on our last day in Rome and it really was a highlight! The carbonara was to die for, it was the best one we had in Rome! We also ordered mixed grilled seafood which was very fresh. The place was full of local Italians, no queue at all so skip the touristy places and come here for a fully authentic treat!

During a short stop in Rome with my family, we had dinner at Memmo's. We had a great time; both the cacio e pepe and carbonara were excellent! Excellent value for money! Recommended.

A wonderful experience for anyone who wants to eat Italian without fuss! Osso buco, Milanese escalopes, spaghetti Bolognese... Beautiful quality products, great taste, efficient and friendly service. A touch of old-world Italy... unlike any tourist restaurant. Very good value for money

We had a wonderful experience at Osteria de Memmo. We started with the mixed seafood—a generous plate of mussels and clams in a fragrant white wine sauce. It was perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely delicious. We paired it with a bottle of Cantina Villafranca Frascati, a crisp and dry white wine that complemented the seafood beautifully. Next, we tried the spaghetti carbonara, which had a rich, creamy texture and fresh pasta that was clearly homemade. The only minor downside was that it was a bit too salty for our taste, but still flavorful and well-prepared. To finish off the meal, we shared a classic tiramisu, which was light, creamy, and well-balanced—not overly sweet. A perfect end to the meal. What made the experience even more special was the hospitality—we noticed who we believe was the owner himself (his photos were on the wall), who came by to check if everything was good. That personal touch really elevated the experience. We’d definitely return—especially for the seafood and warm atmosphere.

The best osteria in Rome! Everything is amazing - always. I’ve been coming there for 15 years and everything is perfect. Fettuccini al salmone is the best! It would be great if they brought back the fettuccine al salmone. They were delicious!

This place was recommended to us and did not disappoint!! We had a stunning lunch here after a lot of walking around St. Peters square area on a hot Roman day. Once we got inside we were immediately relaxed. There is a nice relaxed buzz of locals chatting. We didn't know what to expect honestly and ordered the mixed antipasto plus a pasta primi each. Our minds were blown by the food. A mix of dishes came for the antipasto, all of which were home cooked and incredible. Sweet roasted red peppers were mouth watering, roast courgette, meatballs, fennel salad...and lots more. The primi were amazing. I have never tasted carbonara so rich and good. I had the cacio e pepe which I am still thinking about!! Finished off with a great espresso because no way did we have room for dessert. This is what we came to Italy for!!

Siamo stati a cena con colleghi in questa bella osteria , nei pressi di piazza Navona. Location, in una via stratta , locale caratteristico , VOTO 7 Simpatia di MEMMO ( lo conosco da tanti anni ), VOTO 8 Antipasti , tanti e buoni , VOTO 8 Agnello allo scottadito con patate ( poche), buono , VOTO 8 Fragole con gelato , ottime , VOTO 9 Prezzo, abbastanza giusto , VOTO 7 CONSIGLIATO !

Si mangia bene cucina romanesca. Ambiente rustico. Personale molto cordiale e socievole. Molto buoni i carciofi e le classiche paste della cucina romana. Prezzi onesti.
