Incredible food with very nice, generous staff, and very well priced. We were recommended this restaurant by locals, and we liked it so much we came here again before leaving. I recommend the cacio e pepe, proscuitto e melon, and the tagliolini pachino gamberi e pecorino. The desserts (Torta al cioccolato and gelato limone e vodka) were amazing as well.

Very local restaurant, excellent food and magnificent service from the waiter (Cesare). We ate the antipasti and it was quite original, the pasta was homemade and the carbonara was very successful. If I return to Rome I will return

Osteria de Memmo was recommended to us, by someone who had recommended another great restaurant to us the night before. As we approached we were skeptical because of the location, but when we opened the door, our skepticism all but disappeared. Hidden gem. We were greeted by, I believe Memmo, and we were sat at a table and provided menus. Water and bread, came right away. He and his staff were pleasant and very welcoming. Food: We started with the anti-pasti. Mind blown 🤯. Sautéed mushrooms, celery and beans salad, two kinds of eggplant (one grilled, one marinated), heart of palm, meatballs, and fresh mozzarella mini balls, as well as these that put it 100% over the top for me, they were the pork and beans, yes I know, but I would not have put it here it if wasn’t THAT GOOD!, prosciutto that was thinly sliced and very fresh (none of that hardness on the sides), and then 😋 Roasted Peppers, which were to die for. Everything was very fresh and very delicious. Then, the entrees 😮. We had an order of lagostines, very fresh, Veal Milanese, very very delicious, pasta Casio de Pepe, and pasta frutti de mare. The pasta was HANDMADE! Incredibly fresh as if it had just been made to order, which I am confident it was. Service: the service was out of this world, very prompt, professional, attentive, and did everything to ensure this would be our best restaurant experience on our trip, and they did not disappoint. Above excellent. Atmosphere: I felt like everything that I had ever heard about the quaintness and home style qualities of Italy, were present in this restaurant. I think we were the only customers that were not “locals”. Beautiful decor. I’ve only said this once, but our experience was above five stars in all categories. We will definitely dine here again and again. Absolutely recommend.

Gran lugar para servir auténtica comida romana. Fuimos a cenar y la comida fue genial, Tuvimos una comida romana muy tradicional con antipasti de carnes y queso, primer plato de Cacio e Pepe y Lubina como segundo. Todo estaba perfectamente preparado, la pasta un perfecto al dente y el pescado justo. Grandes vinos locales y precios muy razonables. Situado en el corazón de la vieja Roma, recomendaría este restaurante a todos.

Nos topamos con Osteria de Memmo Santori mientras paseábamos por las calles de Roma y atraídos por el menú local y el ambiente auténtico decidimos quedarnos a comer. El restaurante es por excelencia italiano, éramos los únicos no italianos cenando aquí y los camareros no hablaban nada de inglés. Recomiendo encarecidamente compartir el antipasti di giorno para empezar - es muy generoso con diferentes platos utilizando cualquier local, ingredientes diarios de la cocina tiene. Teníamos albóndigas, estofado de frijoles, selección de jamones, una ensalada de hinojo, mozzarella, parmesano, calabacín a la parrilla y melanzano, y una ensalada de garbanzos - delicioso y fresco. Para la red tuvimos el carpaccio de res y el carbonara - carpaccio estaba delicioso con mucho parmesano y la carbonara era muy generosa con fantástico guanciale. La botella de casa blanca no era más de 15 euros y genial. Nos encantó nuestro almuerzo tanto que volvimos a cenar en nuestra última noche compartiendo calamares a la parrilla y el carpaccio de ternera para empezar seguido de la milanesa de ternera y el besugo a la parrilla que eran fantásticos. Los camareros trajeron un poco de moscato y cantuccini en la casa para terminar nuestra cena, que fue muy amable! Absolutamente me encanta el restaurante y espero volver en mi próximo viaje!

Misticanza - Osteria della Terra

24/03/2025: Veg Restaurant. In the heart of Appio Latino. The environment is comfortable, the guys in the dining room are professional, kind and also knowledgeable about wines. The entree of various types of leavened products and the fried croquette with potato and onion are given to everyone, these gestures are always appreciated. These that you see are already the spring menu and we took: Mixed pasta "Mancini" escarole, sour butter and confit shallot. The pasta was a little salty but it wasn't annoying. The escarole sauce with sour butter is a winning combination, neither of the two flavors overwhelms the other because you can feel the fattiness that the butter gives and the flavor of the vegetables, the shallot gives that extra touch of sweetness, excellent. For the second course I took the braised artichoke, monray sauce and jus of Provençal herbs. Unfortunately the hard leaves of the artichoke remained, so I had to spit them out. You can use the outer leaves to make chips or even for another dish so as not to waste the raw material, which is excellent. For the rest, the sauce was tasty while the jus was very neutral. I recommend bringing a spoon with this dish.
23/03/2025: Excellent vegetarian restaurant. The menu includes a choice of four dishes for each course. Original recipes well prepared and particularly cared for in the presentation. Nice welcome with an appetizer offered by the chef. In our case, a potato and nutmeg croquette that, said like that, seems banal, but it was certainly not one of those you eat elsewhere. Of course, excellent service and everything else.
