L'Osteria dal 1997 In Ferrara

I went there by chance but I have to say it was a great experience... even though they were full they did everything they could to accommodate us, really good... very friendly staff... carefully prepared and very good dishes... and for this reason I have already put myself on the list for Christmas lunch 😋😋🥳

This osteria from 1997 is highly recommended. We happened upon it and enjoyed a pasta specialty, fish, and seafood. Everything was highly recommended, and the service was very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant atmosphere; we immediately made a reservation for the next day!

We were hungry on our first night in Ferrara and just out for a stroll to find somewhere to eat, when we happened across this place. If you don’t make the effort, you could easily pass by it, as it is below street level and hidden, however the gal beckoned us to check out the menu and assured us it was local cuisine. We decided to go in and were pleasantly surprised! The waitress was very friendly and spoke good English, making great recommendations for food and wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening trying the local dishes! Give it a try!

Wonderful Ferrarese dinner. With excellent traditional dishes like the appetizer of pizza and cured meats. Splendid tirtellacci with ragù and butter and sage. Excellent wine recommended by the winemaker. Magical atmosphere and reasonable price. Highly recommended!!

Excellent osteria where you can enjoy excellent cured meats with fried gnocco, Ferrarese pumpkin cappellacci, and much more. Excellent Sangiovese wine, very friendly host... I'll be back.
