L'Osteria dal 1997 In Ferrara

We spent wonderful time in this restaurant. It has very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious, but be aware of large portions. Also, staff is very friendly and speaks English. The restaurant is crowded mostly by Italians. In my opinion, it’s a sight of quality. I would definitely recommend to go to this restaurant.

We found this tavern almost by chance on New Year's Day and it was a real fortune! My partner and I tried the cappellacci and ordered them again as a second course... they were too good!!! Super friendly staff!!

A nice discovery, the Osteria since 1997! From the menu proposals to the final receipt, everything was perfect. We had a great meal and will definitely be back! Thanks to all the staff!

We arrived without a reservation and they welcomed us without problems, staff attentive to customer needs, excellent food, top environment. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended 😉

Christmas lunch: fixed menu agreed by message, the courses were the same for all tables. Everything was good, the young waiters were very kind and seated us in a very quiet and welcoming room. Even though we had booked for 7, 6 of us showed up because one person was ill during the night and was not in a condition to be able to have lunch: at the time of ordering, however, we give maximum availability to cover the entire amount of the reservation and we are confirmed that we would have paid for 7 to eat for 6, despite the request to have the extra course to divide among those present or to take home. At the time of payment (it is confirmed for 7 people) we greet politely and are equally politely greeted. Later in the afternoon I wrote a review explaining my regret for what happened and with great satisfaction I received a private apology from the owner who very kindly offered me a restorative glass. As far as we are concerned, the question is definitively clarified.

The tavern, located in the medieval heart of the city, is a characteristic and welcoming place. We found excellent service, the menu included meat or fish-based dishes... everything was really excellent, even the tender meat 😋 We had dinner in a comfortable and charming environment, we will certainly return.

Bellissimo arredamento in un locale molto spazioso. Menù di specialità locali e ottima carta dei vini. Piatti curati e gustosi. Personale molto gentile e solerte.

Scoperto per caso ma una scoperta molto molto piacevole. Dalla gentilezza dei camerieri, al cibo delizioso con porzioni abbondanti e una location molto carina. Consiglio vivamente a tutti. Noi torneremo sicuramente.
