Graduation Party 03/19/25
I'm writing a little late, but I can't help but do it.
It's not difficult to sing the staff's praises, after all. Extremely courteous and professional, always. (and patient: Having them choose the wine for me, considering that I don't understand a thing about it is like asking a blind native to describe colors). They welcomed me as always with the usual warmth, and did me the huge favor of arranging for my graduation lunch in a quick and fast manner (on a day when they didn't serve lunch, moreover, but they did me the courtesy anyway!!)
Having many southern relatives, I agreed on a traditional Ferrarese menu:
Pinzini and salami
Pumpkin tortelli
Salama and also
Tenerina.
The owner, very nice, also carefully prepared a menu for a celiac guest, managing the matter impeccably and suggesting the best and most valid alternative.
In short, I think that the comments of the guests are fundamental:
Guests from Ferrara:
1) "Pig, those pumpkin cappellacci are so good!!!"
2) "Bro, I usually hate salami but this was delicious"
Guests from outside Ferrara
1) "I had read that Ferrarese cuisine was very heavy and instead..."
2) "What a beautiful place, what good food, congratulations on your choice!!"
In short. five well-deserved stars, and the warm advice to eat there AT LEAST a couple of times, to try everything on the menu.
Because a restaurant succeeds when the guests don't criticize

I give 5 stars on everything because this new management starts with thoroughbred horses: Francesco Owner and transversal entrepreneur, Paolo extraordinary, reliable and seasoned Room Manager capable of coordinating a very pleasant staff. And a special mention to the excellent and promising Chef (21 years old!) Sebastiano. Excellent menu composed of great classics of the Este cuisine, delicacies revisited with balance, careful research of raw materials taken from the seasonal market, and a reassuring wine list, with surprises
The setting of the historic center and the location complete a city resource to be retained

Real Italian osteria with delicious food and great red house wine.
Super sweet staff and the accommodation is very unique.
We were able to choose an antipasto that was not on the menu beforehand.
Primo corso became the cappalaci con zucca and the paste with sepia.
Both great!!.
Highly recommended and a big 5 stars.

I hadn't been to this place for dinner in a long time: I heard that they had changed management and I wanted to try it. I did well! A very pleasant dinner with friends in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly and highly qualified staff. The cuisine is traditional with twists and I was very surprised by the chef: very young yet very knowledgeable and creative. The prices are absolutely adequate. What can I say? I recommend it to everyone, for a group dinner or for a romantic meeting for two.

Stunning place in the center of Ferrara. I celebrated my graduation here and I had a really great time. The tavern and its atmosphere are wonderful, the food was also truly delicious. The super kind and friendly host immediately made himself available and ready to satisfy my requests.
I recommend everyone to try this tavern, even to celebrate special events! The restaurant is in fact also equipped with a separate room, intimate and perfect for spending time in company.
All the staff also proved helpful and competent in their service, making the evening perfect.

Last night we met with friends at this place. An absolute novelty for me. Enry, the waiter, welcomed us and made us sit in a delightful lounge where we could have our aperitif accompanied by excellent pinzini and cured meats. The atmosphere and the service put us at ease. Congratulations, I will return to taste the dishes on the menu

Un oste veramente accogliente con dedizione per il proprio lavoro, si è impegnato a trovarci un tavolo con solo una piccola attesa, nonostante non avessimo prenotato di sabato sera. Atmosfera calda e tranquilla, servizio ottimo con pietanze preparate al momento, il che giustifica qualche piccola attesa, resa migliore anche da un assaggio di benvenuto. Ottimi e gustosissimi sia i cappellacci di zucca al ragù che i passatelli al ragù di pesce fresco. Ottima e vasta carta dei vini.
Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono, forse un po’ caro l’amaro locale (6€). Un antipasto, 3 primi, 3 calici, acqua, coperto e un amaro = 84€

Bellissimo arredamento in un locale molto spazioso. Menù di specialità locali e ottima carta dei vini. Piatti curati e gustosi. Personale molto gentile e solerte.
