Characteristic place with beautiful and comfortable rooms, a sort of luxurious ancient cellar with arches, where you can breathe the care and dedication that "the NEW management" gives to its place. Excellent cuisine with tasty and quality dishes, well presented both meat and fish; and I cannot fail to mention the excellent and vast selection of wines. Very kind, friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend.

Really very kind and professional. High quality food and right portions. Value for money absolutely in line for being in the historic center. The relaxing atmosphere even though we were in the flow of Sunday lunch.

We chose this restaurant based on the excellent reviews... well we confirm everything. Excellent typical dinner. Delicious tongs! From the appetizer to the dessert everything was top notch.

The restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel and we were not disappointed: the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent, accompanied by a good bottle of wine. The value for money is also excellent: highly recommended!

Già dalla chiamata per prenotare avevo notato dei modi garbati e accoglienti. L’accoglienza all’arrivo si è dimostrata l’esatta conferma di quello che mi aspettavo. Un’attenzione particolare quella dei camerieri, una gentilezza ed una cura incredibile. Il cibo meraviglioso, ingredienti di ottima qualità che davano vita ai piatti della tradizione ferrarese. Semplicemente top.

A delightful locele in the historic center of Ferrara. Very friendly and helpful staff. The very friendly host. You can taste the typical local dishes which are delicious.

Graduation Party 19/03/25 I'm writing a little late, but I can't help myself. It's not difficult to praise the staff anyway. Very courteous and professional, always. (and patients: Making me choose the wine, considering that I don't understand a thing about it, is like asking a blind native to describe the colors). They welcomed me as always with the usual warmth, and they did me the enormous favor of arranging me a graduation lunch quickly and quickly (on a day when they didn't have a lunch service, moreover, but they still did me the favor!!) Having many southern relatives, I agreed on a traditional Ferrarese menu: Pinzini and salami Pumpkin tortelli Salama and so on Tender. The very nice owner also carefully prepared a menu for a celiac guest, managing the matter impeccably and suggesting the best and most valid alternative. In summary, I think the guests' comments are fundamental: Guests from Ferrara: 1) "Holy pig, those pumpkin cappellacci are delicious!!!" 2) "Brother, I usually find salami disgusting but this one was very good" Non-Ferrarese guests 1) "I had read that Ferrarese cuisine was very heavy and instead..." 2) "What a beautiful place, what good food, congratulations on your choice!!" In short. five well-deserved stars, and I warmly recommend eating there AT LEAST a couple of times, to try everything on the menu. Because a restaurant succeeds when guests do not criticize

Bellissimo arredamento in un locale molto spazioso. Menù di specialità locali e ottima carta dei vini. Piatti curati e gustosi. Personale molto gentile e solerte.
