We went to the pizzeria because we wanted a pizza. We were told they didn't have any pizzas. The spaghetti carbonara and the fish were very tasty and deserved a good review because we enjoyed them. However, we went to a pizzeria to eat pizza. The staff was friendly, but preferred to chat with other customers rather than serve us. The salad consisted of a few leaves and a few slices of tomato, with no balsamic vinegar, no oil, and no sauce. I recommend calling ahead to check if they have pizzas.

Definitely informal, neither praiseworthy nor infamous, only for lunch so no waiting, 2 plates of pasta, a steak with a side of potatoes and a coffee for a total of 42 euros, found via Google reviews before leaving Catania airport.

A place that allows you to travel through time and find yourself in the 80s, with lots of cream on the menu, at the highway exit for Augusta, in a post-apocalyptic industrial atmosphere with a petrol station attached, the kind where in video games you find medipacks and ammunition. Quick welcome, chair with mosquito net, ice cold beer, chips and perfect pizzas, all in about 30 minutes. We finish with a half-liter glass of amaro. Very fair price, plus an extra gift from the friendly owner. I will return, certain to find everything as it is. I give five stars because I can't give millions.

An inconspicuous place with a nice atmosphere. We ended up there somewhat by accident on our way to the airport in Catania. We ate delicious pasta. We were served by a very nice gentleman who didn't speak English but we managed to communicate without any problems despite not knowing Italian. I recommend the carbonara and penne alla norma.
