Very good service to visitor. Beef cheek and seafood tagliatelle are great. Wine is good. Price is cheap.

At the entrance to the walls, you'll find this place where the staff is super friendly and incredibly helpful, and you can't help but be amazed!!! The food is excellent and the quality is superb! We didn't look for anything else...we always had lunch here for two days!!!

The place, both the upper and lower dining rooms, are truly well-maintained. The food is top-quality and you can taste it. All this is complemented by truly friendly and welcoming staff who make you appreciate the dishes served even more. I highly recommend it.

Walking to the Verona Arena, we were captivated by the menu on display and the delicious aroma that inebriated us and inexorably accompanied us inside the restaurant, where we ate deliciously well. Very fast service (the waiter in the dining room recommended the quickest dishes, precisely so as not to make us wait too long and risk being late for the concert (which we were actually going to see) believe me he was very kind). I don't know what else to say, if you pass by, stop and eat at L'Orologio and say hello to Giulietta for me 👋🏻🤗

The staff were friendly and helpful, brilliant, and charming. We had Venetian-style liver and Bigoli all'amatriciana, both excellent and well-executed. Located very close to the Arena, we thought we'd be ripped off as tourists...but instead, they delighted us before attending the Zucchero concert. Thank you!

This little restaurant is very friendly and pleasant. Renato and his staff are great and attentive. After a warm welcome, lunch was superb and delicious 😋 I had the Venetian liver with polenta: just delicious. Plus, it's close to the Arena. Thanks to the whole team and to Renato for everything. Go there, it's amazing!

A few steps from the Arena, just off Piazza Bra, this excellent restaurant offers impeccable service. Reservations recommended. Closed Mondays.

Fantastic! We had lunch on two of the three days we spent in Verona. And on the third day, we didn't go only because they were closed for a shift. They also gave us excellent recommendations for where to eat. Excellent food, top-notch service (it's not every day I get to discuss my favorite music with another opera lover). Since we'll be returning to Verona in the coming years to attend opera performances at the Arena, I think we'll go to Il Orologio again. An appetizer, two first courses, a second course, and two desserts with two glasses of excellent Amarone for just over €90.

16/10/2025: We spent five days at a nearby campsite and ate there twice. The value for money was simply amazing. Everything was delicious. The pizza was very generous. The pasta portions were rather small. However, the paella was generous with seafood. All in all, highly recommended. Thank you so much!
26/09/2025: Very delicious food, the pizza is outstanding! Excellent value for money. Unfortunately, the owner seems to have had a bad day today; she's not very friendly. The outdoor seating is on the street, but you can tell that before you sit down. I'll definitely be back. And I have come back. Twice this holiday, in fact, and I was not disappointed. The pizza fruttidi di mare is a dream. The squid in tomato sauce with polenta was also delicious. The prices are also perfectly reasonable, especially compared to other restaurants in the area.

02/10/2025: This place delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. I tried the ox cheek, foie gras, and gambero pasta — each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The ox cheek was melt-in-your-mouth tender, rich and deeply flavorful — clearly slow-cooked with care. The foie gras was seared perfectly, with a silky center, paired with subtle, sweet elements that balanced its richness. But the real surprise was the gambero pasta. The prawns were sweet and delicate, and the pasta perfectly al dente. What really elevated the dish was the lemon zest — it added a bright, citrusy lift that brought everything together and made the flavours sing. Simple, but brilliant. Service was attentive and warm, and the historic setting made the whole experience feel special. A must-visit if you're looking for refined Italian cuisine with thoughtful details.
