The fog rises from the ditches and slowly spreads across the moor, leaving its damp smell of freshly made sheets. The clear sky fills the space, leaving the traveler without sensory defenses to face new taste challenges. Near the place of worship, where culinary faith is corrupted by new frontiers of spirit, I enter a new cave. In front of you stands the property that reveals spaces where the unusual scenario of foreign mushrooms lost in the new language breaks down in front of the finely awaited local pasta. The curry reluctantly married on the table with the Lucca tradition meets the palates of the most unruly. The custard mounts its exuberance with the hint of lavender in the contained space of the terracotta, a natural border where the sugar is composed in a thin and fragile layer for the Portuguese conquest. The wine squeezed into glasses that are never too large to contain its alcoholic exuberance accompanies you throughout the evening, satisfying your mood... Well I discover myself in front of this spectacle, naked in my ancient and never banal memories, where novelty is at home .
The experiential exit is facilitated by the local staff, the result of a new culture of hospitality that has its roots in nurturing the relationship with the bystander rather than with the traveller's wallet.
With this wealth I am preparing to face new adventures while the moon has conquered its space and dominates victoriously in the newborn night. To be enjoyed.

Bel locale frequentato da bella gente, elegante carino ed ottimo servizio.
Tutto buono, cucina semplice, complimenti, non è quello che cerco ma se volete mangiare bene lo consiglio.
Prezzi adeguati al servizio ed al locale.
Tra tutto consiglio lo stracotto con il puré ed il tortino di cioccolato.
Le altre cose che ho assaggiato non mi hanno fatto innamorare.

Il locale non è molto grande ma ben curato.
Consiglio vivamente gli spaghetti alla Lombardo ma di lasciarvi un po’ di posto per i dolci perché sono disumani.

We went for dinner on a Sunday, very good food and a quiet and relaxed environment. The service with Francesca was excellent, ending with a nice chat at the table. We will definitely be back 👌🏼

It's been years since I went to Lombardo, first time in the new location and I'm
was very satisfied. I tasted several dishes and they were all excellent (I would have preferred less curry in the spaghetti but that's a personal taste).
Very kind staff and owner. Adequate portions and prices. I will definitely come back.
