A lovely spot in the center of Verona. A nice, extensive menu with plenty of choices. Portions are not too large and offer refined flavors, making the price-quality ratio truly excellent for us. We enjoyed the friendly service. We were delighted with this cozy, Burgundian evening.

I would give six stars if I could. We come here every year. This summer (2025) they blew me away with pasta with pistachio sauce and roasted zucchini (one of the best pasta dishes I ever had) followed by Iberico pluma. Other family members had duck respectively chicken legs. All very special, with fine herbs, nicely presented and served by friendly staff.
One of the best values for money I know.
Make sure to try some Amarone to go with your meat. Thank you for another memorable evening.

This a real gem of a place. The food is exquisite and super healthy with fermented pickles and slow food options as well as more traditional Italian dishes. The Tiramisu is fantastic and slightly different as it is pistachio based and they give your melted chocolate to pour over the dish. They also serve local wines which are superb!!

To say they were extremely kind is an understatement. We found ourselves having lunch a little late after visiting Verona, and many restaurants were already closed. Luckily, we asked for a table at Locandina Cappello, and they seated us. They looked after us perfectly, but above all, they were extremely kind, something I haven't experienced in a very touristy city in a long time. Excellent food, and attentive, non-invasive service. As you can see, I was pleasantly surprised.

Absolutely unforgettable dining experience at Locandina Capello!
The risotto was simply amazing—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I started with a delightful aperitif, and everything just got better from there. The pistachio tiramisù was hands down the best dessert I've ever had—creamy, unique, and unforgettable. The wine selection? Better impossible!
A huge thank you to Cesare, our fantastic waiter—attentive, friendly, and with excellent recommendations. And the final drink was such a special touch—grazie mille for that thoughtful gesture!
If you’re in Verona, this place is a must. Can’t wait to come back!
