Locanda I Faunet In Ostana

We stayed in February 2025. Beautiful experience! The food was excellent and Mrs Elena and Mr Sandro, the owners, were exquisite, welcoming and very kind people. You can breathe the air of times gone by, which unfortunately is now difficult to find again. You dine in a family environment, with chatter between the diners and the owners between one course and another. We had a great time and the price was more than honest. We recommend it and will return!

How comfortable it is here... Like home with your grandparents. Excellent quality food and above all hospitality as was once customary in inns. Places like this must live forever. It goes without saying that every time we pass through Ostana, we will stop to eat at their place

An inn that is also a museum of mountain peasant life. Good food and honest prices, what more could you ask for?

BEAUTIFUL DISCOVERY. In August we were on holiday in Paesana and visited the Po Valley. At the Faunet you can eat very well and have special dishes. We spent 30 euros per person for the complete menu. The owners, Alessandro and Elena, are very kind and very welcoming. We had such a good time that we returned for the second time... Twice in one month. I recommend everyone to try Locanda I Faunet.

I Faunet Inn We had lunch in this place, in the hamlet of Ostana, on a Saturday and a Sunday, having very pleasant chats with the owners Elena and Sandro, courteous and excellent hosts, who have a very close relationship with the name of the place: the elves or forest gnomes and the world of the invisible (it is only by talking together that we discover why). The memorabilia hanging on the walls each tell a story of the past. But food is Elena's imprint, who, as a true artist, reflects her passion in the dishes she prepares: the classic mountain cuisine is transformed, at our request, into vegetarian cuisine, with hot and cold appetizers, to the first and second! To top it off, her chestnut honey cake was amazing! Thank you for your food, for your warm company and for the various advice on houses "in the suburb"... See you soon.

What can I say... we started the holiday with them eating and we ended it with them eating..... Elena and Sandro make you feel at home with their welcome and genuine dishes.... We came on holiday to Crissolo from the Marche and by chance we came across this inn in Ostana, we were immediately fascinated by both the interior and the owners, special people, truly kind and helpful who made us feel at home, thank you for everything greetings from the Marche, we'll see you again soon ❤️

On holiday in Crissolo under Monviso...we went to visit Ostana...we stopped here for an aperitif and given the kindness of the owners and the treatment we received we decided to return for lunch and so on Friday for the last day of the holiday we did and..... exceptional to say the least.... a magical place out of time where their welcome, friendliness and the authenticity and goodness of the food made this day unforgettable.... I hope to return soon. .. thank you you are fantastic people
