Great atmosphere, good food and very helpful staff

Excellent service, the restaurant is located 3 minutes walk from the Duomo. Beautiful view from the terrace. Pork bellies with chopped apple were heavenly.

Friendly staff. Open kitchen, chefs available to explain. Outdoor terrace to enjoy the view. Good dishes, excellent for those with low-sodium diets because they're not salty (you can always add salt later). Just the right amount. Good wine selection, and the staff are available to clarify and offer suggestions. Clean atmosphere.

We had lunch at the Locanda today. Let me start by saying: I'm allergic to milk and all dairy products, basil, and other things. My partner has pretty much the same problems, and when we go to a restaurant, we're always very anxious, as some restaurants have caused some controversy, and others have made me feel ill because they'd taken my recommendations lightly. At the Locanda della Signoria, however, this wasn't the case. When we mentioned the problem when ordering, they told us absolutely not to worry, and that's exactly what happened! We ordered a platter of cured meats only, wild boar stew with red berries, and pork belly with caramelized apple. Let's start with the appetizer: local cured meats that I would eat a thousand times over. Wild boar stew with red berries: It melted in my mouth. Even as I write this, I can still smell the red berries and the aftertaste they left behind every time I ate a bit of wild boar. Pork belly with caramelized apple: What a spectacle, the Apple! The pork was delicious and very tender… Every piece of pork, accompanied by the caramelized apple, was simply fantastic. Let's move on to the staff: the wait staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful given our dietary needs. The chef: he approached our table and, with great elegance and passion, explained the dishes we had chosen and were already tasting. He was a friendly person whose face lit up as he explained his dishes. We paid €74… (a cured meat appetizer, two main courses, two waters, a Coke, and two coffees). Every single penny was absolutely well spent!! We're from Osimo, in the province of Ancona, two hours from Spoleto… and we'll definitely be making the trip again to eat at the Locanda and relax in the city!!

Spectacular dinner with platters, long pasta with truffles, and lamb for the main course. Everything was top-notch, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the location was fabulous.

Locale posto nel vecchio palazzo della signoria che ha mantenuto la struttura antica ed una vecchia cantina nel seminterrato. Pochi posti a sedere, tavoli mediamente distanziati, apparecchiatura con runner. Ambiente suggestivo con fin troppi accessori antichi e un soppalco in legno. Menù con numero di limitato di scelte sia di carne che di pesce, anche piatti della tradizione umbra. Abbiamo pasteggiato con un calice di Sagrantino di Montefalco. La carta dei vini è abbastanza ricca con ricarichi ragionevoli. Abbiamo preso uno sformatino di cavolo nero su fonduta di parmigiano, gli strangozzi al tartufo nero ed un assaggio di 2 tipi di pecorino. Preparazioni gradevoli, servizio veloce e cortese. Abbiamo pagato 58 euro. Alcuni hotel hanno una convenzione con questo ristorante che offre 10% di sconto.
