I’ve had the privilege of coming here over the years it’s one of my absolute favourite places in the world. Not only because the food is out of this world, but also because of the amazing service and stunning scenery. We’re coming back in a few weeks, and I’m counting down the minutes! I can’t recommend this place enough definitely come here if you have the opportunity!

We've had lunch several times at this beautiful restaurant surrounded by nature in Caramanico Terme, with a breathtaking view overlooking Mount Amaro. We've always eaten very well. Lots of appetizers, both hot and cold, with cheeses and the famous, ultra-delicious Caramanico honey (I'm a honey enthusiast), as well as first courses and meat dishes, all excellent quality. The owners are always very kind and helpful.

Everything is wonderful. The food, the hospitality, and the location Writing a review isn't easy when everything is simply extraordinary. Here, friendliness and good manners aren't an afterthought: they're part of the essence of the place. The menu is extensive, designed to satisfy every taste. The dishes aren't simply cooked, but carefully crafted, like works of art. Every detail, from presentation to flavor, reveals attention, research, and above all, love. And without love, as we know, everything loses value. You don't come here just to eat: you come to live an experience, made up of nuances, emotions, and flavors that tell a story. Even the most traditional dishes, like the Arrosticini or the Pallotte cacio e uova, seem to recite a monologue that captivates and enchants. Chapeau!

Wonderful place. Simple but charming and well-equipped rooms. The view is magnificent. And above all, delicate, delicious, refined cuisine, made with excellent local produce. Very good wines. Lovely people. All at more than reasonable prices. It's to find this type of magical place that I love traveling in Italy (and elsewhere in the world).

Fantastic... I couldn't say more. We stopped by one day for lunch after a walk nearby, and then returned the next evening to try the entire menu. You can see they put so much passion and love into everything they do. What you experience here is a true culinary experience, where the owner Stefano knows how to welcome and guide you.

We already knew this place and chose it to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary: we couldn't have made a better choice. The location is spectacular with a breathtaking view of the Majella, immersed in nature and surrounded by a meticulously maintained garden. The restaurant is family-run, with Stefano managing the dining room and his parents in the kitchen. With expert hands and top-quality ingredients, they prepare traditional dishes revisited with a gourmet twist. They're beautiful to look at, but more importantly, they're a delight to the palate. Stefano provided impeccable advice and guidance in designing the menu, and the result was perfect. We, and all our guests, were extremely satisfied. To round things off, we decided to stay in one of the four available rooms and rested wonderfully, immersed in the peace and tranquility of the mountain. The next morning, we were pampered with a sweet and savory buffet breakfast featuring local products and homemade desserts. What more could we ask for? If you find yourself in the Caramanico area, I highly recommend stopping at "Locanda del Barone": you won't regret it!

I didn't stay. Two of us went for dinner. As for the restaurant: Top, Top, Top. Kudos to all the reception staff and those preparing the dishes. Kudos to Mr. Stefano. He recommended and served impeccable, highly refined dishes. He's second to none. Enchanting location. The sunset over the Maiella mountains is breathtaking in its colors. We'll definitely be back.
