A sensational, unique, and authentic experience! Everything was exceptionally good, from the appetizers to the coffee, from the first courses to the second courses, from the side dishes to the dessert! The location is neat and welcoming, the service is very friendly and attentive to every request. The final bill was excellent! We will definitely be back!

In the heart of Eggi, on a winding alley just steps from the church, lies this little gem. The "Locanda dei Sapori" trattoria offers a menu featuring local products at incredibly reasonable prices. Their specialty is snails, cooked in any way (delicious fried, but I loved the snail skewers!). Service is informal and very fast.

A hidden gem in Eggi, strategically located just a few kilometers from Spoleto and several other Umbrian villages. This small inn with a simple and tranquil atmosphere prepares delicious traditional regional dishes, including fabulous pasta dishes paired with a variety of sauces and a wide selection of meat and snail dishes, the true specialty. My girlfriend and I tried two first courses, the snail skewers, and a dessert. Everything was excellent and very reasonably priced, around €20 per person including a half liter of good red wine, water, and coffee.

Wonderful discovery of an inn in a very cute little village.
Pappardelle with wild boar and snails in stew top, homemade flavors that take you back in time.

We found ourselves eating in this small tavern on our way to Valnerina. The feedback made the difference and in this small and cute village of Eggi, we felt at home. Pappardelle with wild boar and hare as if made at home. Flavors not pretentious but genuine. The main dish was the really tasty snails especially the roasted ones. The "crescionda spoletina" was also very good, a typical dessert that looks like a pudding but the upper part is crispier and has a delicious amaretto flavor. Good prices, simple and attentive service and then the offer of liqueurs such as grappa and limoncino made by them. Exceptional. We were satisfied and will definitely take it into consideration.

We were passing through for lunch and it was a little late, we discovered this gem by chance.
Simple but convivial Umbrian restaurant specializing in snails with incredible value for money.
Other dishes are also available, and for tasting bears of various types.
We were very pleased with both the dishes and the kindness of the staff. Highly recommended
