We had dinner last night with friends at the Gasconi inn. The staff are courteous, efficient but not intrusive. We tried the tasting menu: a success!!! All very good. The timing with which the different tastings arrived at the table was also excellent. Truly a positive experience.

Nice little restaurant located in the center of Brescia that offers both traditional and non-traditional dishes.
Average prices and very helpful staff.
Their casoncelli and pumpkin lasagne are good, but the slightly unbalanced risotto with radicchio and truffle is less appreciated.
The dessert with the stuffed apple was not very successful.

This small informal place in the center of Brescia took us back to the old traditional inns.
The environment is welcoming and characteristic, with exposed beams, stone walls, soft lights and wooden tables that create a welcoming atmosphere. The service, although a little hasty, is accompanied by friendly staff. Among the dishes tried, the spelled soup was a pleasant surprise: simple but tasty. In general, the food is of good quality and the portions are average.
The only sore point is the arrangement of the tables, which are too close together. Furthermore, although the soft lights add charm, in some corners they are too dim, making the environment a little too dark.

Bellissima location, caratteristica e particolare però a mio avviso menù non al top e piatti non meritevoli di nota. Cinghiale secco è troppo condito, porzioni piccoline e vino caldo oltre al fatto che non hanno selezione alla mescita.

Cibo: gnocchi morbidi, consistenza giusta, fatti in casa, conditi con una crema di formaggio e porri alla julienne delicata ma saporita, un piatto semplice e spettacolare. NB: peraltro piatto vegetariano. Stracotto di cinghiale con polenta leggermente piccante, godurioso, morbido, niente pizzicore da selvaggina, marinato bene, polenta a regola d'arte. Coniglio al forno maestrale. Un passo indietro sugli antipasti: il tortino alle verdure vegetariano con creme di formaggio è fantastico.
Servizio: ottimo, personale attento, dinamico, gentile, sollecito, mai invadente.
Location: non vi svelo nulla, ma si torna nel XVI secolo. Meraviglioso.
Torneremo più e più volte, ad un'ora da Milano.
