Locanda Chiaravalle In Milano

An excellent experience! Surrounded by greenery, just steps from Chiaravalle Abbey and convenient for Milan, the rooms are spotless and well-maintained, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff are truly friendly and helpful. A perfect place to relax and unwind, I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

Great hotel. Ideal for a tasty Milan experience without the chaos. Attention to detail is felt throughout the hotel at any given moment, and the staff is amazing.

We booked the suite. The room is spacious and attractively furnished. It's a bit dark in places – but acceptable for a designer room. It was clean, and the staff were very friendly. As many others have described, the breakfast is truly excellent and offers a very wide selection. However, the dinner was a significant letdown. Even though the ingredients were probably of good quality, the kitchen simply didn't deliver. We didn't experience the excellent Italian cuisine we're used to in restaurants. Almost nothing tasted good, yet it was expensive (the appetizers and main courses cost between almost €20 and €40). Something that should have been a warning sign: on the other evenings, there was only ever one table occupied in the restaurant, and we didn't see any guests eating there a second time.

The hotel is a real gem. Unfortunately, the service and motivation of some staff members were not up to standard.
