Aside from the raw fish, which was high-quality and fresh, the food was salty and the wait staff was unprofessional. They sat us down at the table and started rushing us to serve them quickly. Too bad. For the restaurant: "If you're in a hurry to close, don't take any more tables after a certain time, or at least let them know..."

Very clean restaurant, everything in the right place, courtesy, professionalism and attention from the staff. Truly delicious fish and raw fish dishes, excellent selection on the wine list and delicious desserts!!!!

It may not have been the best night, but the appetizers we tried were lacking in flavor. The seafood flavor was absent, and both the octopus and squid were truly washed out. The gratin mussels were equally flavorless. The fried fish, on the other hand, was good, as were the baked potatoes. The staff was friendly and quick. Prices were definitely not those of a restaurant. Parking was limited to paid street parking or private parking lots. What a shame...

Un bel posto nella città di Caserta. Locale accogliente, personale garbato e professionale. Cucina di mare gustosa e di qualità. Bene anche la pescheria a vista. Prodotti di livello alto. Prezzi onesti. Ci ritorneremo. Una bella esperienza gastronomica.

24/08/2025: Villa Matilde was the ideal setting for my birthday. Professional and attentive hospitality, excellent food, and a relaxing atmosphere. A tour of the cellars introduced us to the magical world of winemaking, an excellent gem of Campania. I thank Mrs. Avallone, who honored us with her presence, Mrs. Miriam, the great chef Alfonso, and Francesco. We brought some wines from the well-stocked wine cellar with us to renew the memory of a magnificent experience at home.
