Locanda Barbarossa In Como

Had a great meal this week. Been there 3 times and miss it already. Very friendly service, who takes all the time for you. With humor and a nice smile you are provided with lots of goodies.

Great restaurant with delicious food, very good service.

We had a three course meal at Barbarossa. Unfortunately we had to sit inside, which did not have a cozy atmosphere with its fluorescent lighting. If possible I would recommend sitting outside. The appetizers we had were nothing special. The gnocchi was absolutely delicious and the panna cotta for desert was amazing too. Service was average, which seems normal for Como. No one pays attention to empty glasses, which is quite annoying.

As a tourist they like to get you out quickly

Amazing food and very polite friendly staff. The only thing is that tips can't be added when you want to pay by card. Nowadays people use cash very seldom, and it's a pity that as the customer you want to leave the tip but simply can't because only cash is possible. Staff is kind of punished because of such rules.

Excellent seafood scialatelli in foil! Good pizza with quality ingredients!

I went to eat here yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend and I ate pizza, he had a cooked one and I had an ortolana. Both were very good, light dough and also easily digestible. The waiters were friendly, just a few extra attentions, like maybe asking immediately if you wanted oil as soon as the pizza was brought. For the rest, nothing to complain about, I recommend it!

Very tempting to come back tomorrow

Il giorno di Pasqua con amici siamo andati in gita a Como e Brunate. Visto il tempo inclemente a Brunate, abbiamola deciso di pranzare in città e precisamente alla Locanda Barbarossa. In fase di prenotazione ci hanno informato che c’era un menù “limitato “, ma a mio parere più che sufficiente, vista la possibilità di scegliere comunque tra un discreto numero di piatti. L’ambiente, non grandissimo è molto ben curato. Come primi piatti, abbiamo ordinato paccheri con sugo alla genovese e gnocchetti al ragù di pesce. Entrambi i piatti ben presentati e molto buoni. Poi, abbiamo ordinato degli arrosticini adagiati su un letto di pomodorini e insalatina. Un piatto molto gustoso e cotto molto bene. Abbiamo accompagnato il pranzo con un ottimo chardonnay “Bianco di Nera”. Il personale molto cortese e professionale.
