Locanda Barbarossa In Como

In a restaurant serving Como cuisine, I'd always expect the local specialties: at least lake fish dishes and local cheeses. The menu didn't offer what I expected. Despite this, I ate well, enjoying the goat cheese ravioli (which is available here) with caramelized onions: I was captivated by their perfect balance of sweet and savory. A more than adequate wine list, the friendliness of the staff, and the average price rounded out the evening.

The restaurant is very nice, and the food is really good. We had pizza and pasta there, and both were very satisfied. The pizza is baked in the oven right in front of you, which is really cool and adds to the vibe.

Tucked away in a quiet alley in the heart of Como - “Locanda Barbarossa” is a true hidden gem，peaceful and charming despite being so central. .We had lunch outdoors, and it was absolutely lovely — calm, comfortable, and beautifully set. The food was outstanding, made with the freshest ingredients and full of authentic flavors. The staff were warm and attentive throughout. Special thanks to Roland for his kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality — he made our experience even more special!

Il giorno di Pasqua con amici siamo andati in gita a Como e Brunate. Visto il tempo inclemente a Brunate, abbiamola deciso di pranzare in città e precisamente alla Locanda Barbarossa. In fase di prenotazione ci hanno informato che c’era un menù “limitato “, ma a mio parere più che sufficiente, vista la possibilità di scegliere comunque tra un discreto numero di piatti. L’ambiente, non grandissimo è molto ben curato. Come primi piatti, abbiamo ordinato paccheri con sugo alla genovese e gnocchetti al ragù di pesce. Entrambi i piatti ben presentati e molto buoni. Poi, abbiamo ordinato degli arrosticini adagiati su un letto di pomodorini e insalatina. Un piatto molto gustoso e cotto molto bene. Abbiamo accompagnato il pranzo con un ottimo chardonnay “Bianco di Nera”. Il personale molto cortese e professionale.
