Locanda Baldelli In Castiglione del lago

We had lunch at Locanda Baldelli, a place with a unique atmosphere that you can't fully understand unless you experience it. The food was excellent, from appetizer to dessert, as was the wine, which the waiter recommended with great professionalism and courtesy. I highly recommend this experience.

I went there for lunch, what can I say... everything was excellent, we had a mixed appetizer for two and a mixed bruschetta appetizer, a tortello and a 900g rib-eye steak served on a hot plate. The ingredients were top-quality, the location was truly beautiful and unique, and the staff were attentive, kind and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back.

We celebrated our wedding at Locanda Braceria Baldelli, and it was the best choice we could have made. The festively decorated room was stunning and the guests felt its warmth. Mario, the owner, and his son Brando assisted us in the months leading up to the wedding and pampered us on the day of the wedding with their professionalism and courtesy. Chafick and Gennaro cooked countless dishes of different types, cultures, and cooking methods for 40 people, and not a single guest had anything to say about it. Special praise for the abundance of dishes, the magnificent meat, and the menus specially prepared for a couple of vegan and lactose-free guests. What more can we say? If we could give more than 5 stars, we certainly would! Mario then reserved an entire apartment for us, both for our preparations and for the night, and it truly was a suite, welcoming and country chic. We did not have lodgings but had a wonderful dinner. We were 8 service great, wine list good & fair & meat is way to go. I had beef tartar as appetizer , best ever & it’s my thing. Chef on grill knows what he is doing. Most family had steaks - special compliment to the filet cut. I had the aged & marbeled rib eye & was good but in retrospect - I’m going filet next time. Strong recommend

Three stars thanks to the restaurant (which alone is worth five, for the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. Highly recommended). As for the farmhouse, it's a real shame. The property deserves it, but the cleanliness isn't up to par. We appreciate the manager's intervention, which, following our report, immediately resolved the issue. However, greater attention to cleanliness would be desirable, to enhance and restore the property's splendor.

Excellent food, especially the dessert

I can only say positive things about my lunch visit. The inn is truly beautiful and beautifully furnished, the garden is a great place for children to play, the service is friendly, and the food is excellent. Highly recommended.

Found by chance and with difficulty, but it was worth it. Excellent service and an intimate welcome. Traditional dishes: pici and tagliatelle. The grill features excellent quality meat, super super super.
