15/08/2024: When they say that Facebook does something good every now and then. Found by chance while I was looking for the August festivals in Assisi and surrounding areas. Very easy to reach from Santa Maria degli Angeli... don't be scared when you find yourself in front of the Q8. Behind it stands a small motorway-style building... they manage a restaurant room adjacent to the service station bar. Very pretty and welcoming. The staff is very kind and attentive to every request and need. For example, a Muslim couple came in and unfortunately were unable to fully enjoy the mid-August menu (excellent and rich at a truly affordable price), as they don't eat pork. The lady who takes care of the room managed the situation very well, satisfying the passing guests. There were 2 of us… on holiday near Assisi. Excellent first courses, second courses with side dishes... and the pistachio dessert, nothing short of superlative!! Excellent and quality raw materials... but above all the lady who cooks adds an ingredient that not all chefs use. Love!! The white ragù tasted like a Sunday dish, which only a mother can make for her family!! The only flaw... large portions and I capitulated 😂😂 I made a package and I'll eat my second one tomorrow at the hotel. Too much good stuff 😅🐽 Thanks for everything sir, keep up the good work, you are amazing! Recommended... if I were to return to the area in the future, they are definitely a point of reference. Try it!! ps: outdoor parking space and clean bathrooms.
