During our stay near the lake, my partner and I, coming from Rome, had the pleasure of discovering an exceptional restaurant, booked through TheFork. The experience was nothing short of memorable, thanks to a welcoming atmosphere and a well-kept environment.
Being a barbecue place, our attention was focused on the meat, which proved to be of superb quality and cooked to perfection, according to our preferences (rare). The restaurant offers the possibility to choose between three levels of marbling, with options varying daily. We opted for medium marbling, selecting a Scottish cut, as the Polish cut with the highest marbling didn't particularly inspire us.
I would like to express my appreciation to the chef, whose kindness and expertise enriched our experience. He showed us the cooking technique used, which involves a grill specially designed to allow the wood smoke to adhere to the meat, giving it an intense and delicious flavour. A nice touch was the rosemary infused oil, which further enhanced the flavor of the meat.
Although we had considered adding a side dish, we preferred to focus on the meat so as not to weigh us down. However, I highly recommend the starters, especially the bacon-wrapped tomino and the pecorino with truffle, both excellent. To accompany dinner, we enjoyed a local house wine, which won us over so much that we decided to buy it today.
In summary, an amazing dining experience, which I highly recommend to anyone in the area.
An unforgettable culinary experience on the shores of the lake: discovering an excellent grill
Escaping from the Roman frenzy, my partner and I decided to treat ourselves to a short holiday in the picturesque surroundings of the lake. The search for a place where we could enjoy a special dinner led us, via the TheFork platform, to discover a restaurant that turned out to be a real hidden gem. From the first glance, the atmosphere of the place won us over: an intimate and welcoming environment, furnished with taste and attention to detail, which promised an evening of relaxation and good food.
Being meat lovers, the choice of a grill restaurant proved to be the right one. The menu, focused on fine cuts and expert cooking, immediately intrigued us. The ability to choose between three levels of marbling, with options that vary daily based on availability, added a touch of originality to the experience. After careful evaluation, we opted for a Scottish cut with medium marbling, preferring it to the Polish cut with higher marbling, which had not particularly impressed us.
The wait was rewarded with a meat dish that exceeded all expectations. The rare cooking, done to perfection, enhanced the tenderness and intense flavor of the meat. The chef, with his kindness and competence, revealed to us the secret of so much goodness: a grill specially designed to allow the wood smoke to envelop the meat, giving it a smoky aroma and an unmistakable taste. A true culinary masterpiece, which delighted our palate and confirmed the chef's passion and dedication for his work.
To complete the experience, a rosemary-infused oil, prepared by hand, added a touch of freshness and aroma to the meat. A combination of flavors that literally won us over.
Although the temptation to taste the side dishes was strong, we preferred to focus on the meat, fearing that we would not be able to fully appreciate its quality. Esta fue una experiencia de 5 estrellas. La comida es increíble. El ambiente es todo lo que querrías. Usted entra y es recibido por el personal (y muy probablemente el propietario / familia del propietario). Nuestro amigo Sebastian es recién reubicado en Umbría, y nos llevó aquí en nuestro viaje.
Primero, Chef Antonino. El hombre es un Maestro en la cocina. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
La carne de res de Chianina que se preparó estaba entre los 5 mejores filetes que he comido. Increíble. Los ravioles, increíbles. El prosciutto di Norcia era inmejorable (lo mejor que tuvimos en todos nuestros viajes por Italia).
Next, Brando Barbini. Hijo del dueño, Mario. Qué amable, amable, y todo alrededor de gran persona. Nos hizo sentir tan bienvenidos, como si fuéramos familia. También sugirió algunos vinos fantásticos.
El otro señor que nos estaba sirviendo era espectacular también.
Ve por la comida. Quédate para los amigos que harás.
Una experiencia verdaderamente inolvidable. Estamos muy agradecidos por la comida y la hospitalidad.
