Abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorante per un pranzo domenicale. Molto gradite le proposte del giorno, davvero ottimi tutti i piatti scelti. Le porzioni sono tendenti allo scarsino ma la qualità è alta. Perdonale gentile. Piccola nota stonata: abbiamo dovuto attendere 25 minuti per riuscire ad avere il conto

What an incredible place! Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in such a fabulous setting. I’ll be thinking about the lamb chops for a long time.

We were here for a business lunch. Even though we didn't make a reservation, we got a good table straight away. The service is friendly and quick. The food was always of a very high standard and tastefully prepared. The South Tyrolean red wine didn't quite suit my taste. The dessert wine, on the other hand, was excellent again.

Delicious gluten-free pasta at a good price! We ordered the ragu and fish stew pasta and both pasta were yummy. Service was fast and VERY friendly. The waiter happily recommended a local dry white wine for me to try.

What is striking is the very prompt, busy service manager. His collegial cooperation with the service staff was beneficial. It was raining heavily that day. Nevertheless, the terrace was also served with umbrellas across the street. Our condolences and admiration for your efforts. We ate very well, generous portions, everything nicely presented. A fish terrine with variations of salmon. An excellent beef tartare, in beef fillet in pepper sauce with potato gratin, which was unfortunately only lukewarm. Gratin. The tagliatelle were perfect. The house wine by the glass was excellent. Lo Stornello is recommended

A really nice restaurant with a nice vibe. The menu isn’t particularly extensive but all of the dishes ordered were great, tasty and imaginative. Staff were really friendly and attentive as well. Well worth a visit but make sure you make a reservation. Not particularly cheap but well worth the expense. One tip is to try the homemade lemonchello. The best I have ever had!

22/07/2024: Great and I think the only pub in Stresa. The atmosphere is unique and everything is very tastefully decorated. It's a shame that it only opens from 9 p.m. We would have liked to have gone there for an aperitif.
05/07/2024: Excellent pub, pleasant environment, top service, beers in the area and many others.

24/08/2024: I chose this place because it had high ratings, unfortunately I don't share this thought. I only tried the restaurant: As an appetizer we took a platter of cheeses which were cut really too thin, as first courses a tomato risotto with aubergines which had no flavor and the linguine with fish which had NO salt. It's okay that salt is bad for you but... In this case I didn't like the waitress's response (among other things, really kind and therefore unexpected), as she questioned the observation made by my mother, underlining that they had already been made to another customer and he hadn't made comments.. It's not a place I would return to.
23/08/2024: Wonderful meal, excellent quality food and service with a small kids menu which was a great feature for our party. Highly recommended.
