Best dinner in Porto Santo Stefano. We took the appetizer tasting and the grilled fish to share in 2. Large portions, fresh fish and low price considering quality and quantity. The staff was very helpful.

Trattoria lo sfizio da leo and trattoria lo sfizio 2.0 are two DIFFERENT places. They have the same name, they are in the same city and they are only a hundred meters apart but they are radically different places. Trattoria lo sfizio 2.0 is located on a parallel and higher street than the seafront with a panoramic terrace. The higher position makes dining outside more pleasant. The structure as a whole gives the idea of ​​a certain level of restaurant. Believing that I had booked at sfizio 2.0 I discovered on site that I had booked at sfizio da Leo (they are two brothers who run 2 restaurants). Lo sfizio 2.0 is therefore not a new management but the second restaurant (of a higher level) of the family. That lo sfizio 2.0 is of a much higher level is confirmed by the "full house" in double shift, meanwhile, lo sfizio da leo had free tables. The latter is a trattoria located down, on the seafront. The internal room seems to be stuck in the 80s. The bathrooms are promiscuous and absolutely not suitable for the disabled. The external room consists of tables with plastic chairs positioned along the sidewalk with delimitation consisting of flower boxes and trays. Not much fresh fish, many items on the menu represent frozen fish. I asked what was fresh and they told me that off the menu there was dentex and sea bream (70 euros per kg) and a cut of swordfish. The sea bream cooked in the oven with potatoes was good; the swordfish cut, paid 23 euros, did not particularly surprise me. For dessert I asked for vinsanto and cantucci and in the cantucci I found only one almond in the middle. I expected better. Only the sea bream was good. I was in this restaurant with my family and a couple of friends with children. As soon as we arrived the welcome was impeccable, the staff was kind and available for every need. Attentive to our children, they immediately brought colors and drawings to entertain them. The menu is clear and vast, the waiting times were not long, even though the place was quite crowded. The food? Divine!!! Truly excellent! Fresh fish, abundant portions and carefully placed on the plate. Everything taken care of down to the smallest details. Impeccable service from the waiters, even the owner was very kind and courteous, able to put the customers at ease! We spent a beautiful evening, we will definitely be back soon! Highly recommended to those who want to eat excellent fish and above all magnificently cooked! And in the meantime enjoy the sea, right in front of the place!

Un buon pranzo di pesce, porzioni generose, primi abbondanti, forse un po’ troppo saporiti ma dipende anche dai gusti, frittura buona, locale pulito e personale gentile, prezzi equi.

Centrale e con possibilità di parcheggio davanti . Locale caldo e simpatico . Menu tradizionale di pesce e buona cantina senza troppe scelte . Ottimi gli antipasti e la grigliata . Personale simpatico ed alla mano . Conto in linea
