Liston 12 In Verona

The food is so so and there’s hidden prices like cutlery use for 7 euros at the end of the bill.

I was passing through downtown Verona. I'm celiac and wanted a hot chocolate given the cold temperatures outside. There were NO bars/cafés in the historic center that offered gluten-free hot chocolate! But they did ❤️ and to think it doesn't take much to make customers happy. So thank you!

Typical Italian atmosphere, food lives up to the hype, I recommend it. Beautiful view, Arena.

I recently had dinner at Liston 12 in Verona. The food was average — nothing particularly special — and the prices are clearly aimed at tourists, a bit higher than the city’s average. The service could be better, especially when compared to other restaurants in the area that offer a warmer and more attentive experience. We were actually invited in while walking by, and decided to sit down for a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. However, toward the end of our visit, a waitress rather abruptly removed the tablecloth and took away our drinks, even though we were still finishing them, which felt quite disrespectful and unnecessary. That said, the view from the terrace is absolutely stunning, overlooking the Arena di Verona. I’d recommend it for a short stop, maybe just to enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail while taking in the view, but if you’re looking for great food and genuine hospitality, it’s worth exploring a more traditional and less touristy restaurant nearby.

Nice cafe in the square next to the Arena in Verona. The prices are normal, the service is very fast, the staff is responsive. This is the only place in the square where you can only order drinks without food, unlike the other establishments around. Great location

It's the Café in Piazza Bra. It couldn't be better.
