Second time here, very nice place, with good food, both sweet and savory. The focaccia is also very good. The owner is very kind and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Quick lunch. It's a pasta shop and diner. The lasagna is good, with a wide selection of vegetables and classic dishes. Fresh pasta of your choice, cooked to order. Prices and ambiance need rethinking. €10 for a slice of lasagna reheated in the microwave is probably too much. The place is not clean and dark. We hope they renovate.

08/02/2026: The service was very fast and courteous, and the menu was quite varied: seafood, meat, and traditional Milanese dishes. I tried the truffle eggs and the pork fillet with port wine and potatoes. The dishes were average, I'd say, as were the prices. I didn't particularly like the dessert I chose. The atmosphere was a bit too old-fashioned.
11/01/2026: Very pleasant dinner, fresh and well-cooked ingredients. Excellent cutlet and excellent fish.

07/04/2026: We made a rather spontaneous reservation at Il Piccolo in Milan about 45 minutes in advance and got a table without any trouble, which was very pleasant. Overall, the visit was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. For our starter, we had the vitello tonnato, which tasted good, although the portion was rather small. For our main courses, we chose the tagliatelle al ragù (Bolognese) and the braised beef with polenta. Both dishes were well-prepared, classically Italian, and without any major surprises. The wine list offers a decent selection at fair prices; most glasses cost between 8 and 12 euros, which is quite reasonable for Milan. In conclusion: A good, uncomplicated restaurant for a spontaneous visit, with solid food and fair prices, even if it doesn't leave a lasting culinary impression.
06/04/2026: Good Food Nice Atmosphere You may feel little bit congested, but I guess many restaurants are like that in Milan. All is all worth a try
