Lile in cucina In Milano

Good food, attractive dishes and very kind staff. Perfect!

In an era in which we always want to be somewhere else, where we are not, and only on the journey between the place we have just left and the one we are going to do we feel alive. Of a life that often leads us to change habits and trajectories, where places and people cross our visual and emotional field with increasing speed, every now and then an uncontrollable force attracts us there, to a certain place. A place is never just "that" place: we are a bit of that place too. Somehow, without knowing it, we carried it inside us and one day, by chance, we arrived there. I must say that I have been in the area for a short time and I don't like it, or rather, I like it less and less; fortunately there is this place. In the morning it has something magical: jazz or ambient music, fresh flowers, excellent desserts, inviting cakes and delicious pastry shops (which finish too soon). An open kitchen that promises excellent lunches (even if I haven't tried it yet, due to time constraints); all surrounded by a clean, modern but welcoming environment. The owners are prepared, kind and always smiling! A happy island in an area, for me, not too cheerful.

Nice and well-kept place, wide selection of homemade cakes. I took the banana bread and it was very good, the cappuccino perhaps needs improvement as it wasn't very well whipped, a shame. In any case I will return

This restaurant is one of the best in taste and quality in Europe. Lunch here was better than at the Michelin two star restaurants I've been to in Milan or Paris. Great taste and great value!

Un piccolo gioiello di accoglienza e gusto in piazzale Maciachini. Locale piccolo e curatissimo, il personale gentile e sorridente ti fa sentire di famiglia. Il menù cambia ogni giorno: appetitoso e leggero, in questa occasione abbiamo gustato croccanti fiori di zucca in pastella appena fritti, saporite eliche di Gragnano con pesto di pomodori secchi, pinoli e ricotta, paccheri con verza e salsiccia, zuppa di ceci e olietto piccante, per continuare con salmone cotto a bassa temperatura con verdurine, cime di rapa ripassate, insalata di finocchi, melograno, arancia e noci, e anche un classico roast beef dalla cottura perfetta con succulente patate arrosto, corredate da una irresistibile crosticina. Una menzione speciale va ai dolci; scopro che li prepara tutti i giorni la mamma di "Lile", e così riaffiorano alla memoria i sapori del cuore: quelli dei dolci della nonna che nessuno saprà mai replicare ma che puoi trovare qui. L'imbarazzo della scelta può assalire l'avventore, tra torte al cioccolato profumate al bergamotto, tartellette con crema e lamponi, crostata ricotta, crema, uvetta e pinoli... non siamo riusciti ad assaggiare anche il cheesecake ai mirtilli e altre golosità (le porzioni sono davvero generose), ma ci rifaremo presto. In questo posto cura, mani felici e esperte si accompagnano alla scelta di ingredienti di eccellente qualità. Era il mio compleanno, in una giornata fredda e insolitamente tersa: lo ricorderò per la soddisfazione del palato e ancora di più per il calore dell'accoglienza, veramente unico.

A small jewel of hospitality and taste in Piazzale Maciachini. Small and well-kept place, the kind and smiling staff make you feel like family. The menu changes every day: appetizing and light, on this occasion we tasted freshly fried crunchy courgette flowers in batter, tasty Gragnano helices with dried tomato pesto, pine nuts and ricotta, paccheri with cabbage and sausage, chickpea soup and spicy olive oil , to continue with salmon cooked at low temperature with vegetables, sautéed turnip greens, fennel, pomegranate, orange and walnut salad, and also a classic roast beef perfectly cooked with succulent roast potatoes, accompanied by an irresistible crust. A special mention goes to the desserts; I discover that "Lile's" mother prepares them every day, and so the flavors of my heart come back to mind: those of my grandmother's desserts that no one will ever be able to replicate but which you can find here. The embarrassment of choice can assail the customer, including chocolate cakes scented with bergamot, tartlets with cream and raspberries, ricotta tart, cream, raisins and pine nuts... we weren't even able to taste the blueberry cheesecake and other delicacies ( the portions are really generous), but we will do it again soon. In this place, care, happy and expert hands are accompanied by the choice of excellent quality ingredients. It was my birthday, on a cold and unusually clear day: I will remember it for the satisfaction of the palate and even more for the warmth of the welcome, truly unique.

I was there for a company lunch, unfortunately the first one was very cold but still good. Very nice place for a quick lunch.
