Lieviti Pizza-beer-italian Food In Montepulciano

When we stepped into Lieviti we were a little alarmed... there were only two occupied tables. Luckily as the night went on we realised we were just being extremely British by coming for dinner at 8pm... by 8.30pm the place was packed. The food was excellent, scratching the itch we had for wonderful pizza despite recognising it's not what Tuscany is known for. Service was a little more tricky, as language proved a bit of a barrier and as the restaurant filled up it was more challenging to get plates cleared and a bill sorted. But it was all understandable, and didn't negatively impact the experience. A great option while you're in Montepulciano.

We were visiting Montepulciano and other places in the area and stopped to enjoy Neapolitan pizza at this pizzeria. You have to go down some stairs, as the place is underground and almost all the tables are under one roof and there are about fifteen of them. The menus are not delivered to the table, but rather wifi is provided to view the price list. From the name I expected a selection of different yeasts, but this was not the case. There is not much selection of pizzas, while the classic ones have a normal price, the special ones are very expensive. Very courteous waiters. The service was very fast, even in the delivery of the dishes, so I cannot confirm the reviews that speak of biblical times. The pizzas were very good and the dough too, but everything was normal, not exceptional.

The restaurant is very nice, unfortunately the pizza was not a typical Neapolitan pizza. In addition, the staff was rather demotivated. There are certainly better ones here…

The pizza was really great! I removed a star just for the fact that we waited 45 minutes to receive the order of 4 pizzas and furthermore there was the air conditioning that didn't work.

While the pizzas are competition-worthy, very good, the service was very slow: we waited about 45 hours from ordering for some pizzas! Furthermore, the air conditioning system is problematic, so we suffered from the heat all evening. Low prices, beautiful and characteristic place, tavern type. I liked it, but I wouldn't go back.

La Pizzeria Livieti nous ayant été indiquée comme la meilleure de la région par une propriétaire d'une boutique à Montepulciano nous n'avons pas hésité une seconde et bien nous a pris tant leurs pizzas sont excellentes et croustillantes....le fait que les propriétaires sont napolitains explique beaucoup. Le restaurant est situé au sous-sol dans une belle cave voûtée, un four à pizza impressionnant, belle carte des vins, service impeccable...on n'a guère besoin de plus pour passer une belle soirée.

Una delle piu buone pizze mangiate in vita mia...E giro Italia da anni...si sente e si vede che i pizzaioli sono di Napoli...perché solo chi è stato a Napoli e dintorni può riconoscere alto livello...materie prima ottime,ho provato più tipi di pizze tutte buonissime antipasti di salumi e formaggi Buonissimi,posto molto Bello x chi ama i rustici,ex cantine,ecc...Montepulciano e una bellezza e questa locale merita,servizio ottimo,prezzi onesti,scelta di birre a nn finire noi abbiamo preso una pizza con il crudo buonissima e una con mortadella e pistacchi favolosa...contorno di patate anch'esse buonissime...ci andiamo spesso x me in zona il.migliore in assoluto
