Today I spent a day at the Lido Tropicana in Mazzeo Letoianni together with my wife, with the idea of ​​relaxing and enjoying some time at the seaside. The experience, however, was a bit mixed. Let's start with lunch: unfortunately, expectations were disappointed. The quality-price ratio was unbalanced, with dishes that turned out to be mediocre despite a rather high cost. Although the staff was courteous and helpful, the culinary offering did not leave a positive impression. The day on the beach was spent pleasantly, although the umbrellas and sunbeds could do with a bit of renovation: their comfort was questionable and the wear was evident. Another aspect worth mentioning is the beach shower, which did not work properly due to poor water pressure, and the cleanliness of the external bathrooms left a lot to be desired. The lido staff, however, were kind throughout the day, but the service had an abrupt ending: at 6.45pm they invited us to leave the lido, closing our umbrella without warning, which was a bit ruined the ending of our experience. Overall, I would give a rating of 3 out of 5, thanks above all to the courtesy of the owners. However, a general improvement in the service, the comfort of the spaces and the quality of the lunch would help make the experience more pleasant and in line with expectations.
