Lido di Sala Comacina In Sala comacina

We stumbled upon Lido di Sala after wondering around Sala Comacina where we were staying. It's incredibly charming, with covered tables overlooking a scenic cove of water. Luca, our server, was wonderful and personable, and the food was delicious. Nothing fancy, just a well-prepared and very tasty meal. The ossobucco was fabulous, and the vanilla banana liqueur dessert was amazing. Thank you to Luca and staff for a wonderful Sunday dinner!

The restaurant definitely has a beautiful view of the sea, especially when sitting outside—the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly friendly, and we didn't really feel welcome. Furthermore, the prices are quite high: burgers over €20 are simply too much, and other dishes like risotto or pasta are also too expensive for the portion size. The food and location were good, but the service and value for money let it down a bit.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner and had a delicious meal right by the water. The service and kitchen worked together brilliantly, and children are very welcome. We don't understand the bad reviews. The friendly waitresses try their best, but if a lot of people come in spontaneously, things could understandably get a bit bumpy.

Visited for lunch. The menu is limited, but the location is excellent and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Parking nearby is difficult to find. It's easier to get there by boat.

Our second dinner at this restaurant. They are helpful, accommodating, and provide a good dining experience. The location is perfect with the views and atmosphere. The food is good and consistent. With 10 ppl on our first visit and 6 on our second, they helped navigate allergies, preferences, and schedules. An overall lovely experience

We arrived spontaneously without a reservation and therefore had to wait a bit for our food to be ready – but that didn't bother us. The location right on the lake is beautiful and creates a relaxed atmosphere. You can eat there or just have a drink. The pizza was delicious, and the tiramisu was particularly delicious – a real highlight! The coffee was also very tasty. The drinks menu is rather simple overall and offers mainly wine. For those who don't drink alcohol, the selection is unfortunately somewhat limited. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, a very nice place to linger – we would love to come back!

Lovely place and people although we didn't have the best experience with the second plates since they were very very little on fish.

We are on holiday from Australia and upon arrival in Sala Comacina searched for a bar with a great view to have a drink. Lido di Sala Comacina was perfect for this, the view was beautiful and we thought the staff were very friendly and accommodating given we only speak English! The drinks were so delicious, my husband had an aperol spritz and I had a lemoncello spritz and a Hugo spritz, definitely the best I’ve had! They also brought little snacks with the drink which was so lovely!
