The food is good, no complaints there. But a platter for two with a dozen slices of cured meat, four (in number) pieces of cheese, two soups and two plates of pasta with sauce for the kids, half a glass of wine (€18)... total €100. I got up still a little hungry. This isn't a restaurant, which is supposed to cater; it's a rip-off. Goodbye.

I visited this little place in late August, and I have to say it was delicious!
I had polenta concia with butter and fontina cheese: a typical Aosta Valley dish only for those with strong stomachs and true connoisseurs!
They bring bread and breadsticks so you can dip it in and enjoy.
You absolutely must try the "Crema di Cogne," a sort of chocolate pudding, creamier than usual, served with homemade biscuits.
What can I say? Attentive and friendly service, excellent value for money... I'll be back!

We had the pleasure of trying this place thanks to a recommendation from a woman while hiking, and I absolutely fell in love with it! The atmosphere is very welcoming, the decor is beautiful, the staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and they pamper you with every course, even accommodating special requests!
Everything we ate was delicious, but I highly recommend trying the gnocchi and onion soup—a real treat!
We'll definitely be back on another vacation here in Cogne!

We went twice in six days, and a 10 for the quality and preparation of the products. We enjoyed the tagliolini with tomato sauce, the gnocchi with Carme di Reno, and their selection of Piedmontese cheeses, a delight for the most discerning palate. Their homemade desserts were also a delight, among which we highlight their Sacher torte.
Excellent local wine cellar, and a very special mention to the friendly and professional staff, always attentive to our well-being. We will definitely return!

An unpretentious inn, with very friendly service and a truly traditional atmosphere. The polenta gnocchi and polenta are excellent, but the rest lacks much character. The fondue is reasonably priced, but not the best I've ever had. The homemade trout salad is good, but not particularly impressive. The wine selection is decent and well-priced. I wouldn't try the Cogne cream here, as it's too sugary.

A pleasant experience; the dishes were satisfying in both quality and quantity. We ate outside in the shade, which was suitably welcoming. Service was reasonably quick, although we were surprised that our coffees were brought before dessert. The price (about €50 per person for two courses) was reasonable. Overall, a positive experience, and a recommended place!
