Authentic wood-fired pizza. The flavor selection is somewhat limited, but the available ones are perfect.

Even Formula 1 has raised prices in San Lorenzo, though less than others in the eastern part, so we're choosing this pizzeria as the best. Thanks.

Excellent place to enjoy Roman pizza in a lively area full of restaurants, San Lorenzo. It's now an almost weekly stop for us. Super competitive prices for excellent, high-quality food, tasty and easy to digest. Simple, informal, welcoming and original atmosphere. Knowledgeable, friendly and fast staff. Without a doubt, Roman pizza is only available at the Economica on Via Tiburtina. You'll never walk alone (at least as far as we're concerned 😃🥰😋).

Perhaps the oldest restaurant in San Lorenzo, open since 1940! The interior decor has remained the same: wooden tables and chairs, but the food is truly excellent and it's family-run. Seats are limited and it's always busy, so reservations are definitely recommended. The homemade desserts are a must-try!

Excellent pizza, light dough, and fresh ingredients. Welcoming place, fast service, and fair prices. Try the potatoes, zucchini flowers, and anchovies. A must-try for anyone who loves authentic Roman pizza.

We had dinner on Friday night at L'Economica pizzeria. It's an old-school neighborhood place, very popular: it was packed both inside and out. The service was friendly and helpful, although the cleanliness isn't exactly top-notch and could use a bit more attention.
The pizza is a shallow Roman-style pizza, slightly smaller than other pizzerias, but with a really good, light, and crispy dough. The toppings aren't bad: on the capricciosa, we appreciated the choice of olives, but a little less so the amount of prosciutto, which was practically nonexistent. We ordered a diavola and a capricciosa: we liked the diavola.
For our appetizer, we wanted zucchini flowers, but they were sold out, so we ordered the cod fillets: unfortunately, they didn't convince us, especially because of the batter. We also waited a bit too long for both the appetizers and the pizzas.
Prices: very good and affordable. For what you pay, the quality/price ratio is fair. In short, a good neighborhood pizzeria, with a few flaws, but where you can eat good Roman pizza for little money.

Both times we ordered takeout. I recommend eating it right away, though, because even though I live a two-minute walk from the pizzeria, the pizza was cold when we got home. The one with porchetta is special, delicious!
The suppli are equally good.
