Great food and very friendly and attentive service. Every dish is visually and tastefully exquisite, and the portions are generous. All allergens are clearly indicated, and there are numerous gluten-free dishes. Highly recommended.

We visited this lovely restaurant as a group of 7, from the UK in June 2025 and The garden setting with the vine covered pergola was really well crafted.
Everyone from our group thoroughly enjoyed their main courses and deserts. The lovely attentive lady at the front of house was faultless , no request was ever a problem.
I don’t write many reviews but after the quality of the food, compliments to the kitchen staff and of the service we received I felt this independent restaurant truly deserved my time and my review. You will not be disappointed.

Three years ago my boyfriend asked me to marry him at the table of this restaurant and today we returned to celebrate the second anniversary, we ate very well, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, courtesy, kindness and sympathy are characteristics of the owners who honored us with this unexpected thought!

Ottima esperienza a cena. Da perfetti sconosciuti abbiamo prenotato telefonicamente e ci hanno dato quello che per noi era senza dubbio il miglior tavolo della sala.
Il locale è situato nel centro di Verbania, a piano terra di un palazzo d’epoca, probabilmente in origine una cantina o un laboratorio. Oggi restano le volte del soffitto che danno il nome al locale.
All’entrata si è accolti dalla proprietaria, molto cortese e sempre presente. Il cibo era semplicemente squisito (tortino di zucca, risotto al formaggio, dessert).
Il conto è stato una bella sorpresa: prezzi assolutamente adeguati, rispetto alla materia prima ed alla lavorazione, con un ricarico minimo sul vino.
Un locale da visitare se si passa da Verbania.
