Le Tre Rose In Enna

This unassuming Sicilian restaurant is a bit hidden, but it's worth the effort. Good local food at reasonable prices. It's a family atmosphere, and you'll need to speak Italian to communicate.

A short break on our journey between Syracuse and Palermo, we were very happy to find this restaurant open in Enna, and we had a wonderful meal! Very warm welcome, delicious food.

Delicious fresh authentic Italian food at great price. Lovely staff although we don’t speak Italian they did their best to engage with us.

The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The quality of the food was very good, and the price was more than reasonable. The portions were relatively large.

I've always wanted to visit the small town of Enna, located 931 meters above sea level. I randomly chose a place for lunch without any prior information, and had a truly excellent meal. It was much more satisfying than the restaurants I'd been to in Syracuse and Taormina. In particular, the Pacceri pasta with ragu sauce, which wasn't on the menu, was the best ragu pasta I've ever had. The grilled tuna and squid from the mixed grilling "Chef's Fantasy" were absolutely delicious, with no fishy smell whatsoever and just the right amount of seasoning. I expected the veal rib to be veal, but it tasted more like overgrown beef, but it was edible and had no odor. The caponata (stir-fried vegetables in tomato sauce) was also delicious, with a variety of vegetables. The Sicilian white wine was also delicious. The staff didn't speak English well, but we were able to communicate with gestures. I highly recommend it!!
