We ate there in late October. The food was delicious, and the portions were just right. The beer selection was very limited, and the spinach wasn't very cold. The view was spectacular, the atmosphere very peaceful, and the service was prompt. The restrooms were clean, although access was a bit awkward due to a narrow staircase.

This is a small restaurant around the back of the village, it is part of B&B. When we arrived it only had 2 other tables in. The food is actually quite good it's just the service let it a bit down. It just felt like the couldn't be bothered and that we were interrupting them watching the football! Just put a little effort in! And you probably get a few more punters. PS best not moan about your guest either. As some of us do understand Italian 🤣

We were looking for an authentic and intimate restaurant and we came across this one, with an incredible view of Taormina and, what's more, we enjoyed excellent pizzas.

Was quiet but my sword fish was fabulous and so too my husband's minute steak. The family running it are friendly and helpful. I've read that it's off the beaten track and yes it's not on either of the 2 squares or the main road but Castelmola is a small village so it's not hard to find and is worth the little effort.

The service and food was great. They were very friendly. The view from the terrace is magnificent. Our 10 month old granddaughter loved their spaghetti. My gnocchi was amazing. I finished with a taste of their local almond wine! We will be back!

18/09/2025: I've eaten here, and the Messina pidoni are excellent. It's obviously a "pitoneria" (a kind of "pitoneria"), and the most effort goes into the pidoni, so much so that they're well-made. I understand that, but you should also pay more attention to the Messina arancini, which are a Sicilian product that tourists rave about when they arrive in Messina. The arancini are there, the saffron is evident, but you should increase the filling. They judge three things: well-cooked rice, the saffron, and the filling. I think it's not bad, but you should increase the filling.
