15/04/2026: The immediate proximity to the Vittoriale could be exploited to attract customers, but in this case, it's not necessary because it's truly an exceptional place with no need for frills. The food is excellent and the price is fair; I had the bigoli with tench and the trout with potatoes, which had a special flavor (you could tell they were the result of the chef's passion). The dishes were flavorful, not salty. The photos don't reflect the portions because they were taken of plates already beset by hunger. Top notch. Truly home-cooked food. The white wine was decanted, good, and didn't go to your head. We were served by a very polite, helpful, and smiling young woman, not at all awkward. She's very young, but she has a passion and professionalism that a "veteran" would envy.
